The hotel is definitely old and worn YET price is relatively high ($121 a night) compared to local Marriott properties (Fairfield, etc)
BUT it is EXTREMELY CLEAN!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aaron B.Lexington, KY56116558Jan 21, 2016
Have you ever been disappointed by missing an opportunity to stay in a 2-star hotel in a small town? Well now I have!
This Best Western has nice, clean rooms, with free wifi, fridges and microwaves. The furniture was classy and not dated. Too bad I didn't get to stay!
The staff was SUPER friendly, and they leave out courtesy ear plugs for light sleepers! Too bad I had to cancel right after I checked in.
This was a last-minute business trip, and the opposing attorney texted me 5 minutes after I checked in to tell me court was cancelled for weather. A minute later, the front desk rang with my courtesy call to see if everything was okay. I had to sadly inform her I was checking out. Since I hadn't used anything in the room, she just cancelled the reservation with NO CHARGE!
If you want good, friendly service and a clean room in Barbourville, Kentucky, this is your place!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - MoMo K.University Village, Chicago, IL4944442708Jan 18, 2016
Huge Tip: on google maps, paste this "Best Western Wilderness Trail Inn, Barbourville, KY" because if you put in the address of the hotel, it will take you a completely random spot!
It costs $74.99/night without tax for a "1 King bed, nsmoking,hi speed net, micfrg, cfmkr, irn, hair, continental breakfast". I don't have any complaints really. Rooms were okay, the lady at the front desk was nice, and I was able to park right in front of my room. I'm pretty sure you can request a room that doesn't face 25 east, I didn't really care but some people don't like the constant truck noise.
There are a bunch of fast food restaurants around this hotel: Burger king, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns etc. So pretty much everything you need is here.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mark W.Bakersfield, CA74305302May 18, 2012First to Review
THIEVES.....THIEVES......THIEVES !!!!!!!!!!
Do not leave any valuables out... staff will take it and not even flinch!
Left my ipad in the room, maid was outside ready to clean my room. Called 4 hours later and they said theyd call me back in fifteen minutes, never returned my call. Drove back to ask in person they just acted suspicious and said they would check the room... never a call back went back again they just said sorry!
I get it and I need to take some responsibility, but they know the maid took it!
Place is a dump on top of that, first room had a toaster streudel on the dresser and poop in the toilet... they said it was a busy day!
My advice keep driving to Corbin!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
