Best Western Wichita North

First thing I always judge a hotel on is the service I get from the front desk. So often this is not valued by hotel chains. I was knocked out by the friendliness of the woman who helped me at the best Western. Then I got to my room and I continued to be impressed with the quality look and feel of the hotel. Easy on and off the interstate and I would just say you cannot go wrong stayed at this hotel!

3/5 Stars...just average. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Biggest complaint is the room size...small. It felt very small and cramped. We had a double bed room, 2 adults and 2 kids, and a pack n play for an infant. Compared to other Best Westerns we have stayed at, just felt so much smaller.

We did enjoy the pool and courtyard with the billiards and arcade. It gave the kids something else to do in the evening rather than just watch tv.

I've stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was a few years ago and it was in the midst of some renovations. I wasn't that impressed, but I got a great deal.

On my second stay, I booked this room without realizing I had been here before and once I figured that out I was thoroughly impressed with what they have done with the place.

The rooms are awesome and comfortable, there is a GIANT indoor activity area full of comfortable couches to lounge about, TVs, multiple pool tables, FREAKING SHUFFLE BOARD (seriously, I've only seen shuffle board on cruise ship decks), miniature golf, a kick ass pool and video games.

BREAKFAST is amazing and served by the adjacent Country Kitchen restaurant (I don't remember that from the previous stay). It is a buffet with an extremely good selection and everything was delicious.

I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Best Western in Wichita. The staff was so helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The way the hotel is set up is very unique and great for groups and families. There is a pool, ping pong tables, tons of games and a large open area in the center of the hotel.
The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean.
There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel and a great breakfast is served there also.
The area feels very safe and quiet yet is very close to the highway and only 10 minutes from downtown Wichita.

We recently stayed at this Best Western in Wichita, KS and found the staff to be very helpful, the location fantastic and overall had a delightful experience.

The attached Country Kitchen restaurant had and excellent breakfast buffet, much higher quality then you find at a lot of hotel stays. They also offer made-to-order entrees fir breakfast and throughout the day.

The hotel hot tub and pool with attached arcade helped us relax and refresh ourselves which is very key to our success as we travel across the country. All of this plus the room was modern and comfortable!

We were really impressed by this Best Western in Wichita. The staff at the desk was friendly and our check in and out was very smooth. They also were kind enough to let us check out a little late because we were playing a show at Barleycorn's that night.

One of the best parts of the hotel is the large open area that is in the center. There's an arcade, pool tables, ping pong tables and tons of comfy couches if you want to get out of your room and chill out. There's also a pool and a hot tub!

Our room was cozy and well appointed. I really liked that our window faced a second inner courtyard that was not being used. So it was very quiet and it was nice in the morning because the sun wasn't so bright. If you travel a lot or work odd hours you know how important this is!

Breakfast is served in the Country Kitchen right next to the lobby downstairs which is really convenient. They also serve lunch and dinner. It's nice to be able to get a good meal any time of the day instead of gas station food or fast food.

We felt very at home here and wish we could have stayed more than one night!

The property is average, at best. It is old and has been polished up... but still old. Has a musky smell in the hall ways. I can only imagine all the reviews that applaud how nice this place is to be either phony, or those people have never actually stayed at a nice hotel. Made my reservation on hotels.com (which I won't be doing ever again either) for a King suite with double sofa bed. Showed up to the property at 2am with my family after a long day on the road to be given a king room.. no sofa bed. I went to the front desk and told them this wouldn't work for my family and it isn't what I was booked for (I booked a King suite with double sleeper sofa for $156). We were instead given a standard double queen room (which is about $100-$110), which was fine. It had great water pressure, I will give that to the property.

The fun started the next morning when I wanted to ensure that I was only paying for the standard queen room I was given and not the King suite I was charged. The staff had a hard time understanding my concern and we just went round and round at the front desk until I finally just walked away. The hotel refuses to work with me because I booked through hotels.com and hotels.com refuses to work with me because they say the hotel won't authorize a refund of the room difference. So I am being scammed by both hotels.com and the hotel.

This Best Western was a very welcome stay.

The first thing that I loved about it was that it had a motel sort of feel; I could park at the door and load my gear in for safety from the elements ( I am a touring musician and accessibility is imperative). BUT that is not all! There was also a door that opened to the inside corridor which lead to the lobby, fitness center, chill room and Country Kitchen restaraunt.

When I checked in, I had just driven 9 hours from Denver and needed solace. The staff was so friendly and efficient, the air was cool and fresh in the lobby and they even had complimentary warm chocolate chip cookies and water. Sweet relief!

The area was convenient and safe, with fast food and gas stations within walking distance.

The room was nice and cool, the remote had been sanitized! The bathroom was large and clean, towels so fluffy and Dial soap products. The bathroom even had a timed heat lamp; which I was sure to bask in from my weary drive.

We were given coupons for free breakfast buffet at the Country Kitchen which was ripe with all the delicious fruits and traditional morning fare one could desire, a lovely departure from your standard continental.

All in all, this was a great stay - clean, comfy, quiet and affordable. Will definitely be back for business and/or pleasure. Thank you Best Western~

This is a nice best western hotel if you are in the Wichita area.
Staff is friendly.
Rates are good as well as the free breakfast.

This best western is a great place to stay! I was traveling with my mom and dog and so glad we booked a stay here. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating to me during our stay. They gave us a room that had both inside and outside entry to ease traveling with a dog. The restaurant offered a wide range of options for breakfast and even allowed me to do a to go buffet option so I wasn't away from my dog for too long. The room was spacious and clean. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

This is a great place to stay. They have a pool, with a large hot tub, an arcade and a gym. There was a small problem with the room and they fixed it immediately. All the staff was super friendly as well. Definitely would recommend
