Our first trip to Prosser, WA. This is a very nice property and the free breakfast is better than anyplace I have stayed. The guide book said the motel is a "short walk" from the wine mall and tasting rooms but apparently they consider 3/4 of a mile to be a "short walk" in Prosser. Walking back to our room in the dark on a road with no sidewalks after consuming a very large amount of wine was a bit more risky than we anticipated.
It was also fun to watch all the activity at the gigantic (legal) recreational marijuana store across the street from the motel. The business has a video sign that has to be 100 feet tall which flickers all night with a gigantic green marijuana leaf. Welcome to Washington!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 12, 2023
Clean.comfortable room. Seemed newly renovated. Ac worked fine, shower was hot. Continental breakfasts are notoriously awful but they really upped their game. Hot omlet bar. Hot eggs and sausage, pretty good variety of items. Normally I skip the continental breakfast at most places but this one was actually worth the visit.

My friend and I took a girls' weekend trip to check out Prosser and attend some wine-centric events, and booked the BW because it's within easy walking distance of the wine district. It was a long drive from the big city, but the hotel was easy to find and we were greeted with a friendly smile and got all checked in.
While the lobby of the hotel is fairly well decorated and updated, the rooms and hallways looked like something out of a bad 80s (or 90s?) movie? The orange and brown carpeting had almost psychedelic effects (especially after a few glasses of wine). And the room, while large and boasting essential like a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, was extremely dated. Everything was clean and comfortable, though, and it seems they've kept things in surprisingly good shape maintenance-wise.
The thing that made the BW stand out most was the friendly staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the very kind ladies who staffed the breakfast area it was all top notch, and it's what would make me return here if I go on another wine trip. Speaking of breakfast, this place has one of the best free breakfasts I've every seen - including not only the usual waffle stand, oatmeal, and baked goods, but a full-service omelette bar and huge selection of dairy-free milk alternatives too. Well done, BW, well done!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 892311300Mar 21, 2022
There are not enough great things I can say about this Best Western. I did get the King suite with jacuzzi. The spacious room with kitchen and bathroom was exciting. Semi-truck parking, pet area available. Thank you Maryjane for the wonderful stay. I'll be back ASAP!

Perfect Place! VERY TRUCKER FRIENDLY!
This place tops in my best 10 list out of all the hotels I been at. I been at a lot of hotels but this one amazes me! First of all...they have truck parking. Like literally parking for 18 wheelers. There is not much hotels that have parking for SEMIS! This hotel was in an convenient spot. Being a trucker, they have things with in walking distance! Definitely great when you have no ride to drive anywhere. There was a subway, a TRUCKSTOP and even Dutch bros you can walk to.
Very customer friendly. The Clerk at the desk helped me right away. Every staff member I have came across on the morning I was checking out was very friendly! They greeted me with a smile and said Good Morning. No one was forcing me to wear a mask.
The free complimentary breakfast was actually a real breakfast! They give you a menu and you can circle what you want. I had breakfast burrito. Not like these other hotels I been at. They give you a to go breakfast and just a bunch of snacks really. OMG, they actually had fresh coffee in the morning. with all the fixing sugar and creamer out. I was ecstatic!
They had a fancy lobby. Pretty clean and nice! The room was very spacious. Big King size clean bed with a lot of pillows. Bed was comfortable too. The Shower pressure was awesome and great lasting hot water. This is a place I would stay if I was vacationing.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1208145Nov 11, 2020
We had a lovely stay here in October of 2020. It's a nice, cozy spot in Washington's wine country. Clean rooms at a good price.

My cousin John Gray owns the Prosser House in town and he suggested the Best Western to stay at on our trip. I didn't have any expectations upon arrival, but when we arrived I was surprised how nice the rooms are. This place is a great place to stay if you're passing through or on a long-term stay. The rooms are nicely cleaned (to my standards), and the breakfast is great with hospitable friendly staff. When we make it back to this area I will definitely return to this Best Western.

The photos they put up are outdated... this place currently looks like a dump. The decorative poles out front are barely standing straight up - I set my drink on it and it tipped over to one side and dropped my drink. The first floor hallway is entirely torn apart yet there was no mention of the construction going on when we booked.
Someone had spray painted "Smile" on one of the walls on the first floor near the vending machines.
The room had mismatching light switch to plate cover and a burnt out bulb.
The parking lot has no covered parking despite the heat.
Several times, there was no one at the front desk and I had to wait before someone came out the back to assist me.
The juice for the breakfasts are just sitting in a small fridge in the dining area which is adjacent to the lobby for any passerby to access, which doesn't seem very safe or sanitary to me.
Overall I was very disappointed in the condition of the hotel and the service wasn't good either.
I do not recommend this hotel.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
