Beautiful bar in the bustling neighborhood of Tennyson! The service was amazing, drinks were delicious (and strong!). They have a cool concept where you get to put your "token" into different bins to support different causes; I thought this was really unique :)

They have some snacks which we didn't try but look yummy!

"Drink. Laugh. Give" I love a bar with a cause. For every drink you purchase, you get a wooden token to place in the charity of your choice - animal, environment, human. Berkeley Untapped tallies the tokens and donates to the cause with the most votes. They have one bartender with an excellent system. As people stood in line, she constantly reminded people to pull up the QR code menu and have their drink selections ready. They have rotating beers on tap and a fantastic selection of spirits. You can even get your beverage to go for an additional fee. They are dog friendly and have plenty of seating options on the patio or in their covered outdoor area called The Green Room. What a great little bar!

Prices are well priced for their drinks. Not a beer place but good liquor selections!
Staff is super friendly and attentive!
Outside section looks like it's officially permanent and can't wait to sit out there during the spring and summer time!!

Saturday January 14th at 11:30 am I had an unusual experience that my family felt uncomfortable and think other families should be aware. A female bartender stepped outside and shared that moms get 15% off drinks. That we love Mimosas. Intrigued and ready to try a drink, I stopped to chat. She continues to shout if you have dogs you get I 15% off. I asked about babies and her response out loud to a huge crowd... fuck babies. The people surrounding her all cheered. For a location that should be friendly, it was clear this location is hostile towards children. I hope that staff will learn from this experience and have grace towards people from all walks off life.

Berkeley Untapped had some great cocktail options. I tried their electric hammer aka mezcal margarita. So so good!

The inside is an interesting mix of cabin vibes and random artwork. And the bartender was nice but kept going in the back room which felt a bit odd.

Pro tip: the entrance is to the left of the outdoor patio. It was a bit hard to find at first.

Delicious pours, cozy hangs, fantastic people and grooves - Berkeley Untapped is far and above our beloved community gathering space. Jay and his team are *always* welcoming, even with (and especially for) parents with kiddos, dogs, the whole motley crew, all are welcome! A home away from home on Tenny with lots of laughs. Do yourself a favor and go say hi.

I love this venue, but too many times I've seen the brunette female bartender awkwardly, and loudly, ask someone who is checking out "what percentage of tip do you want to leave?" It's so cringy, and it makes me not want to come back. I don't know why the system doesn't allow somebody to privately leave their own tap, or why she has to shout this loudly in front of everyone, as if to bully the payee into leaving extra tip. In any event, it's incredibly awkward each and every time she does it. Please stop making patrons cringe so you can make a better tip!

Great place. Cool, casual, relaxing and fun!!!! Love this place!! It's a comfortable place to meet people, enjoy the brews and form some permanent connections with new friends. What could possibly be better than that?!

2. For every sale, Berkeley Untapped gives its patrons the option to drop a chip into a bucket, which they will donate a portion of their sales to said charity. I've never seen this at a business, let alone a bar. How cool!

3. The beers on tap and the whiskeys on hand make for some of the best in the city. Local beers from all around Colorado and a crazy awesome booze selection make this place an undeniable winner.

The bartenders are relaxed and knowledgeable, while the space is small and cozy. Do not walk by this Tennyson gem!

I loveeee this little place. Its cute from the way the bar is set up to the ambiance and seating. There are games to play and you get wooden tokens to help out various charities in the area.
My biggest struggle about going here is that the beer is pricy and it always seems as though they have just run out of what I was really wanting. Who wants to pay $7 for a beer that is their second choice?
