Berkeley Perk Cafe

Friendly and attentive staff. Ordered a breakfast  bowl and pastry for my wife and me. Came with fresh cut avocado and was very good.

When the line was gone the cashier, who probably figured out we were tourists, brought us the local paper when he saw us looking at a neighborhood flier.

Good Food and service!

The food was excellent and a decent price. I docked two stars for order ahead not making any sense. They sent me a text that the food was ready. Food was not even started. Why have a text system if it's not accurate. Don't even text and I'll just show up at the pickup time and be expecting to wait.

Looks good for having a leisurely hangout. I will definitely be back but I will walk there at a slow and leisurely pace, and enjoy the food in cute surroundings. I guess quick, good and affordable pick two -- this place is good and good value for money.

Best breakfast diner in the city. I've been to all of them.  They take pride in what they serve, and it always looks good on the plate.  The price is quite fair also.

According to yelp the cafe was opened but it was closed. So we were unable to check it out

Our VRBO hosts recommended this locale as it was a five minute walk from our place.  We did a carry out order of a Egg, bacon and cheese on an English muffin with coffee.  The sandwich was huge.  I ordered two and could barely finish the first.  Coffee was strong just the way we like it.  Service was quick and friendly.  They have dine in as well.

This place was a gem on our Boston trip! We went there every day for breakfast. Fantastic food and cool local vibe while still being affordable. I can honestly say that I enjoyed Boston more because I didn't succumb to starting my day with a greasy pile of cheap breakfast.

Minor note: the prices have gone up slightly since the yelp menu was posted. For example the Katie bowl is now $7.

Had amazing Adam's Breakfast tacos also frozen vanilla rage cozy atmosphere also friendly service.

If you're in the mood for a quick bite or something to take to go on the way to work-this is the place! The food was okay- it really is just a simple sandwich... but if thats what you are looking for this will do the job. I enjoyed the fact that my food came out to go still hot!

We found this spot for breakfast by accident and appreciated the thoughtful menu. The Katie bowl was delightful, fresh, and a reasonable portion. The only reason for limited stars was when we went to get water at the side counter there were a stack of solo cups. The cups were being re-used as both of our red solo cups had someone else's lipstick on them.

Sooo delicious. I got the turkey pesto on sourdough and everything was fresh and flavorful and best of all, didn't hurt my wallet. Will come back to this cute place :)
