I FREAKING LOVE THIS BENIHANA!!!!!!

Starting with parking: there is complimentary valet parking after 4 or 5 I believe. There is enough parking though. There isn't much traffic getting to Benihana either. It is in the business/corporate area.

Inside: very clean and spacious. The Tep area is very clean. I really appreciate that it is too because of all the food and mishandling with crayons. We had been to a Benihana location where there was crayons and gum underneath and it really killed our experience but this location, my all time favorite!!!!

Food: it is benihana. It is amazing. That chicken fried rice tho!!!! We always get the emperor's feast...steak and chicken...the best!!! You get more bang for your buck!

Had a great time here for my wife's birthday. Our server Patrick was very friendly and did very well managing the several tables he was tending to. Others at the table had a lot of details to change to their orders and he nailed every single one.

Will come back again!

KP was an absolutely amazing chef and server and gave us great service and quality food and entertainment! The fun atmosphere he brought to the evening was a perfect celebration. We have been to Benihana's many times and I can sincerely say this is the best time I have ever had!

As I waited for my table, I went to the bar and was greeted by the kindest young men ever, I ordered the Benihana punch and one of the most refreshing drinks I've ever drank. I almost wanted to stay at the bar before I was called in for dinner. Once I sat down I was greeted by the chef and enjoyed the amazing show. The chef and servers were good, but the bartenders Massimo and Tony made my night Food was very delicious and service very wonderful. Definitely coming back to this location.

Terrible service... I only gave it 2 starts because the food was good & nothing was the cooks fault
We have a 12 (noon) reservation for a work lunch today (4/24). We arrived about 15 minutes early & stood in the front for almost 10 minutes without being even greeted or told someone would be helping us soon. After 10 minutes, I walked back to the bar & asked if anyone was working up front... all this while the GM walked by us 3 different times & didn't even acknowledge us. Once the hostess came up, she checked us in & it was another 10 minutes before we were seated... once seated, we were given our drinks quick & our order was taken quickly as well. We sat for ONE HOUR before the chef came out to start cooking... an hour!! When I I asked if we were going to be served soon the hostess rolled her eyes & laughed

The manager , who introduced himself as Josh, made our experience amazing. We were there for my mans birthday and Josh came out to wish him a happy birthday. He talked to us and made us feel like we came to the right place for Ryans birthday. We ordered the Hibachi supreme and the Land and Sea. Josh recommended both entrees to us and they were amazing. He also stopped by our grill and checked on us to make sure we were having an enjoyable experience.
Out chef was entertaining and was the most fun we have had at a dinner experience. From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, we were non stop laughing.

I hadn't been to Benihana in quite some time, so I decided to book a reservation for dinner. I arrived to find plenty of parking and walked up to the beautifully manicured entrance. I checked in an only sat for a couple minutes before our name was called.

We were seated at the end of the teppan table and the staff quickly took our drink orders, followed up by our dinner orders. Everything was quick and efficient.

The chef rolled in the cart and reviewed our orders with us. Once our orders were confirmed, the chef showed some of his skills cracking eggs, chopping up shrimp and tossing the tails into the air, then landing in his hat. Our chef was entertaining and cooked our entrees to perfection.

A few pleasant surprises since the last time I was at Benihana's. I don't remember getting shrimp with the meal or the soup. Perhaps I had forgotten but it was delicious just the same!

We enjoyed the attentive friendly service and wonderful meal. Next time, I won't wait so long to return!

We have been here twice and had a great experience both times! Jojo was our server last weekend. She was professional and super friendly. Made sure to check in on us frequently and brought drinks/apps in a timely manner. She even took a photo for each party and printed for us!

The food was great and the fried rice was to die for. Sooo much butterrrr!

The parking lot is packed and could use more lighting. It was pretty dark.

We had reservations for 7:15pm on a Saturday evening. When we travel, if there is a Benihana nearby, we try it. I was excited to try this location in Newport Beach since it is known to be an affluent area.
We checked in and waited only for 5 minutes.
Our server, Jojo, was amazing and had great customer service skills.
We had an issue with how the food was cooked to our (the customer's) satisfaction.
I informed Jojo and while she was attempting to make things right, the chef had a bit of an attitude so Jojo informed the manager.
The manager, Toshiya was receptive, had a good demeanor and handled the issue very well. I am satisfied with the resolution.
Layout of the restaurant is similar to other locations. The restaurant is clean.

Went to Benihana on a Thursday night and although it was crowded (like usual) we were seated in a surprisingly timely manner. Our server Dylan was on fire all night and took care of everyone at the table. He was very gracious and attentive to our requests. Manager needs to give him a raise!
Our chef whom I'm forgetting his name was a 10+!!
I remember he had a sleeve on his left arm. Cool as f**k! He was very entertaining and cooked our meals perfectly. Go with the Hibachi Supreme with a side of Japanese chili paste and you are good.
