Belly Good Cafe & Crepes

Worth the wait! Such a good quality crepe and a fair price. Each crepe that has ice cream comes with a face. We got the #4 and added vanilla ice cream, it was so yummy!!!

The wait was about 25 minutes, but all crepes are made to order. The staff was friendly and worked really fast. It was clean, organized, and colorful. Will be coming back!

I'm going to chalk up my experience to it being a busy Sunday afternoon. We waited quite some time to order and an even longer time waiting for our crepes (30 minutes) and they still messed up our order.

We order two #12 and they gave us #2's. When we told the guy who handed us the order that this was wrong, the cranky lady who took my order said oh sorry. We handed it back thinking they would make the right order, but instead they just added a scoop of vanilla ice cream on each smashing the cute bear face (which to be honest was the only thing I paid money for). The #2 had matcha ice cream and red beans inside which my kids don't eat so I was stuck with 2 destroyed and untouched crepes. So not worth it and will never visit again!

Belly Good Cafe is located inside the mall of Japantown, so it's a bit of a maze to find it. It's a small, unassuming stand with a sizable crowd waiting to order the famous, animal face crêpes. I ordered a standard green tea crêpe with vanilla ice cream, chocolate, fruit, and corn flakes. The crêpe was really cute, but I found the flavors to be just-okay: I didn't particularly like the chips used for the ears, as they tasted a bit stale. Ice cream and fruits were just-okay, and the crêpe could've been a bit crispier. Overall, it was a nice experience getting such a cute crêpe, but it was mostly for aesthetics than taste.

Belly Good Crepes is located in the West Mall at Japan Center in San Francisco (next to Takoyaki Yamachan). This is one of two crepe cafes I've tried in Japantown. The crepe can be customized and have a variety of options like fruits, Nutella, chocolate, custard, peanut butter, cream cheese, flan, etc, with choice of all different kind of sauces. I ordered my favorite classic which is the Strawberry, Banana & Nutella crepe w/ vanilla ice cream. To my surprise it came with a cute smiley face design on the ice cream. I found out that if you order ice cream with your crepe they do this smiley face on your order LoL!

Hold on to the ticket stub they provide after paying. You will need this to claim your crepe when they call out your name. The crepe was a generous portion and enough for daughter and I to share without the sweetness overload.

This place is super cute. It's located inside the mall in Japan town. I got the Oreo special and it was so yummy. Not too sweet either. Love how it comes with cute faces

Bookmarked this place a long time ago to checkout and finally got my chance. It's been a part of the Japantown Mall for years.

It's just like an ice cream counter with plenty of suggestions for crepe fillings and a separate board with speciality creations. Place your order and shortly after, your crepe is ready for pick up at the opposite window. On my visit, I didn't notice if there was an option to have it served on a plate, but it didn't matter to me, I wanted it cone style. We ordered the Nutella Special and the Oreo Special.

The crepes are freshly made and filled with your requested concoctions. It's wrapped in a cone shape, so you can easily enjoy it on the go. Each crepe comes decorated with a smiley face--very cute.

Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Japantown Mall.

This is my favorite dessert place in San Francisco! . I like the soft style crepe skin here and i love the cute faces in the ice cream I get. The strawberry and anko is my favorite! The ice cream they use here is actually really awesome (like high quality ice cream not just Costco brand). I feel this place is really a hidden gem in San Francisco. The staff is always nice to me despite it always being pretty busy. Also I think the tall lady making the crepes is really cute :)

Im so happy I finally got to try this place! We came in on a Sunday afternoon and there was a bit of a wait but the line moved fast. The person taking our order was very friendly. The crepe was ready pretty quickly and we chose to eat it outside.

The cute face on the ice cream was so adorable! And delicious! The crepe was soft and complimented the sweetness of the ice cream nicely. It is a bit messy to eat, so keep that in mind. I wish we had asked for a plate. I will definitely come back!

My FAVORITE crepe place!! And if you get ice cream on them, you get a cute character.

I always get the same flavor #45 crepe which comes with strawberry, banana, and Nutella. I like to add ice cream to it.

They are always quick to make the crepe and efficient with getting it to you. If you're ever in Japantown, I recommend you stop by! :)

This place has been in Japan town as long as I could remember. It has been always crazy busy. Dropped by here with kiddos one relatively early morning and surprisingly no line up here.

The options were overwhelming. I ordered one scoop of matcha icecream in cone and my kids got a boba tea. I was expecting some plain icecream then I got a super cute bear in my hand after!

The decorations are all eatable. The play on texture was great. My icecream is not super sweet which I really like. The bear nose is a fluffy marshmallow. The cone was so crispy. Yummm.... I really enjoyed it!!!

We swing back to the store later in the afternoon again and it was packed. Glad we had a chance to try ordering when they were not busy. Kids need time to decide... LoL
