Bella Mia Bed and Breakfast

Nicole is an amazing host, and has dedicated several years of her life to making sure Bella Mia is the perfect experience for her guests. My husband and I just stayed here for the weekend and Nicole made each part of our stay special. The room was beautiful and had plenty of privacy, but it was also nice to spend time with the other guests in the communal spaces. Since there are two bathrooms for the two rooms to share (the third room for guests has its own en suite), there's no issue with sharing bathrooms or having to wait for others to finish. And the main bathroom for guests is huge with a beautiful luxurious tub which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Every morning, Nicole prepares a beautiful breakfast - super delicious and thoughtful homemade meals. This alone really drives the value of staying here. Starting the day off with a wonderful breakfast and plenty of delicious coffee is fantastic.

Spring Lake itself is also very cute, with lots of good shops and restaurants nearby and in the surrounding towns.

Bella Mia is a great value, and a really special experience. I'd highly recommend it, and I hope to be back soon!

Stayed here with my husband and another couple for one night. We enjoyed the vibe of the place, the tasty and filling breakfast, and the wonderful host Nicole and her pup Winston. She was very friendly and informational with the location and where to eat. Our bedroom was located on the first floor, and our designated bathroom is just a few steps outside our room. The room was cozy and comfortable. The a/c worked fine. The place was clean and had everything you need. The backyard grounds was well kept and relaxing to walk through. As for location, you can walk to a few great restaurants from this B&B. One of them is Finn's, which I highly recommend. Grand Haven downtown is about a 10-minute drive, not too far. Definitely recommend this awesome place.

This home was delightful. Proprietor was gone when we arrived but made prior arrangements for easy entry and check-in. Shabby chic decor and artwork throughout the home was interesting and comforting. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Proprietor was friendly and helpful with area recommendations. Great place!

My wife and I stayed here last season and really loved this wonderful place. Nicole made us feel like family and catered to our every need. We had some very delicious food and Nicole gave us great eat out recommendations. Very homey and relaxed atmosphere very well decorated and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this as a very comfortable cozy please to stay when in Grand Haven area.

Everything about this place is perfect. It's beautiful. The food is delicious. The coffee is great!

My boyfriend and I had a minor hiccup in our arrangements with our trip to Michigan. Luckily, we found this place on Airbnb. Nicole was probably one of the coolest people I've ever met. Her space is one of a kind and her artsy touches to each room made me feel like I needed to redecorate our home the minute we got back from our trip lol! Every place to eat and drink that she recommend was absolutely delicious. Better yet, the breakfast that she made in the morning was a great way to start the day. Yum! I definitely recommend staying at this lovely home!

Beware! Property owner Nicole L. operates her business in an unethical fashion. I booked her entire home 9 months in advance for 6 people traveling to Spring Lake Mi. to attend a family wedding. Nicole notified me just days before my arrival, which was scheduled for July 5. She had canceled my reservation which was paid in full, due to a double booking "computer glitch". Instead, she accommodated others that booked after me. Clearly this decision was made as it would prove to be more profitable for her to rent each room individually. At the time of this post both Homeaway.com and VRBO have pulled her listing from their sites.

I just stayed here last night for the first time and it was wonderful. Nicole is a gracious host and the house has been wonderfully restored and decorated. My room was gorgeous and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast this morning was delicious. Will definitely book again when I can make it back to Spring Lake!

NiCole's home is amazing! We were in the Knobs and Keys room for two nights.. Slept wonderful! Loved everything about the home! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine and took advantage of walking on the trail behind the home. Next time we will bring our bikes for sure!! Nicole's breakfasts were to die for! And loved chatting with her and having Harley her dog around! What a sweetheart!! I agree with the review below that states they want to redecorate their own home when they get home! I feel the same!! Thank you NiCole for a perfect get a way!! We'll be back!!
