I highly recommend Ayda! She is so professional, personable, flexible, and amazing at hair! I started by just getting a hair cut and then went to her for tape in hair extensions - they're amazing! She did a great job. She also cuts my boyfriends hair and he really likes going to her as well.

Worth the read if you are getting highlights!!

I recently had an appointment with Ayda (full head of highlights, olaplex treatment and beige toner) and want to share my incredible experience. I am very protective of my hair and finding a new colorist/stylist can be daunting and nerve-wracking but I'm so grateful to now have formed a relationship with Ayda.

First and most importantly, Ayda takes her time to listen to her client, to hear you and respect you as she talks you through a treatment plan. She takes her time and is meticulous in her work and believe me, it pays off. My hair looks absolutely gorgeous. Smooth highlights and seamless color integration.

Secondly, she is a kind, sweet and personable. I enjoyed chatting with her.

Finally, She is clearly well educated and has years of expertise in the industry. Her attention to detail fixed my hair from a previous colorist who did not take his time, who did not once ask me how I wore my hair or where my part was, and who did not listen when I expressed my discontent with the final product.
Ayda will not let you leave her studio if you are not absolutely in love with your hair.

You can tell she loves what she does and it shows in her beautiful work.

listened to what I said I wanted and came through! The cut and color are beautiful!

Ayda is so great at giving you exactly what you want ! I'm super picky and controlling heheh and she is totally accommodating and delivers perfect results. I asked for loose beach waves for reference.

I purchased a Groupon since I am new to the DC metro area and needed a new salon for my time here. I found Ayda and went in for my highlights to be retouched. I have naturally dark brown hair and have been highlighting it to a dirty blonde for a few years now. I explained that I wanted the orange tone on my current highlights to be fixed as well. Instead, she ridiculed my previous stylist (who I loved) and gave my the worst color job I've ever had. When she took the foils out I knew it didn't look right but waited to see what the final product looked like after being washed and dried. I was so upset with the end result. I don't know what to do. My hair is way too blonde and has no depth to it. It looks so yellow and unnatural, like I did it in my bathroom and not a salon.

I was even more upset after Ayda charged me $100 for having long, thick hair even though I purchased a groupon for full highlights. Now $200 in (more than I have ever paid for a haircut) I have received the worst one yet. After her comments about my previous stylist, I was so afraid to say anything and felt extremely uncomfortable like I was walking on eggshells, something I don't want to feel when altering my hair color.

I guess you truly get what you pay for with a Groupon. I'd much rather fly back up to Upstate New York to see my old stylist.

I've spent the better part of my life searching for someone who can do my hair without messing it up. I have a lot of cowlicks and nuances that make it difficult unless I've used the same person for a long time.

Then I went to Ayda. She's so nice and funny, quick, and thorough. She adapts very well and I never have to worry about whether it will look right. She is also very flexible with her schedule and easy to deal with. 5 stars!!!

I haven't been able to find a hairdresser like Ayda.I was visiting from Texas and my Son and daughter in law took me to Ayda.First of all I loved her personality.I loved the way she cut my hair.Can't wait to go back.

All I can say is WOW! I am so happy I found Ayda! Not only is she super talented, she is so sweet! You really feel like she gets what you are asking for and treats you like royalty throughout your visit. Needless to say I just found my go to hair stylist. I have never had someone color my hair and it turn out EXACTLY how I wanted. Thank you Ayda
