Bay Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

I had a GREAT experience working with Dr Shwerdloff and his nurse Melanie. I am SO HAPPY with the help they gave me. They made me feel so comfortable and at ease in every way. They are top notch!

This is my third visit in two years with Dr. Chavda. I got here at 10:35, filled out my paperwork, and at 10:50, Josh took me into a room to complete my medical history. He was pleasant, efficient & professional. He gave me a gown, and asked if he should return with Dr. Chavda or if I preferred a female assistant. Perhaps my request for a female assistant is what created a 10 minute wait in a very cool room in a skimpy gown. I don't know. But by the time I saw Dr. Chavda, I was feeling good, and not cold. The wait was reasonable.

Tammy assisted Dr. Chavda, who was attentive and thorough. Dr. Chavda asked questions & pointed out areas that needed to be watched. She also made recommendations for my bug bites, noting that bug bites are inevitable for those living in Florida . She was quick, efficient, professional, and personable. Tammy took notes, and she, too, was professional & friendly.

Check out was smooth with Sarah. She made my next appointment for a year and a few days from today. Sarah was friendly & efficient checking me in AND out! I highly recommend Bay Dermatology & Dr. Chavda (who also sees my husband, & he saw her first five years ago & recommenced her to me!).

Very professional caring doctors that really take the time to talk you about what is going on.

I went to Dr Miller to remove a small cyst. I feel I was rushed and not treated properly. That night my whole head burned. I ended up with a two inch long two inch wide bald spot. I have showed Plastic Surgeons who said it was done very aggressive. I feel this could have been avoided. Please be careful. Possibly use a Plastic Surgeon for delicate areas

I wish I could give a review of the medical services provided. I had an appointment for 1130 and arrived at 11:10. The waiting room had about six patients waiting and at about 1140, and employee announced that they are backed up and will get to all of us.

I ended up bailing at 12:05 and asked them to shred my patient information. I plan on seeking another dermatologist who will be more respectful of my time

Excellent service! I've been to both their Palm Harbor and St Pete locations, and I can say they truly provide world class treatment. Dr Swerdloff is caring and extremely knowledgeable. He always has the patient's best interest at heart.

Bay Dermatology is my go-to place yearly for over 15 years. In those years, I've learned when it comes to having a scheduled appointment doesn't always necessarily mean that the doctor is going to be on time to see me. Most of the time they are on time and sometimes there's a delay. However, I understand that there's going to be patients that will need to be seen a little longer than others and that it will delay my appointment.

I have to say in my experience with the doctors I have seen, such as, Dr. Miller, Dr. Swerdloff, and Dr. Chavda they as well have given me the time I needed with them. Including those times where I had a full body exam and had minor invasive surgery, and/or treatment all in 1 visit. I never felt rushed thru my appointments and have received impeccable professional service from all of them.

Dr Chavda was not at all thorough and misdiagnosed my skin condition. She become defensive and unprofessional when I asked questions about how she came about the diagnosis. After being on a steroid she prescribed for two weeks and seeing no results, I got a second opinion and was treated for something completely different.

I would not recommend Dr. Chavda for any skin ailments nor for regular skin checks where I believe she biopsies more moles than she really needs to, just to make a buck. Stay clear of this office!! They also don't return phone calls. Very unprofessional.

I was not thrilled that the majority of my visit was with a medical student rather than the doctor. Dr. Witfill has no personality and rushes through your visit like you are an inconvenience to her. Unless your insurance coverage is 100%, be very wary of this practice. I go to a dermatologist for medical reasons, but they are happy to try and upsell you cosmetic procedures and telling you on the side that they can get your insurance to pay for it. I want a doctor that I feel comfortable with and isn't trying to make profit off her patients and patients' insurance companies. Will not be returning to Bay Dermatology.

The doctors, nurses, and ancillary staff are professional. They are efficient and meticulous at their work. I recommend them to my family, friends, and colleagues.
