Barro's Pizza

I've been here a couple of times and their pizza is pretty good. Although they go heavy on the sauces for most of their pizzas so expect a messy eating experience.

I'm not a fan of some of their other offerings. The sandwiches are just ok, $10 for a footlong and its pretty basic deli meat with some veggies. At least you get a bag of Lay's chips with it. The boneless wings were large nuggets and I asked for the lemon pepper dry rub but all the rub was in a greasy pile in the box. I ended up scooping the rub into the blue cheese dressing cups and dipped the chicken. The celery sticks were really dried out and stringy.

I'll be back if I'm in the area again but I'll stick to the pizza.

I ordered online for pick up during lunch hour. My work is just a few blocks away but this is my first time at this location. When I got here, there was sufficient parking but it was getting pretty busy. I could see it filling up (unless there's parking on the other side of the building that I didn't see?)

The line was starting to get out the door. I didn't see an area for pick up and three employees were at the registers helping people so I don't feel right about "cutting" ahead to pick up. Which this is exactly why I order ahead to avoid waiting in lines especially during a busy week lunch hour. By the time I got up and they brought my pizza, I could tell it had been sitting for a bit.

Pizza was so-so. Not as good as a previous time (from a different location). Not sure if I'll be back when there are other options available for less hassle

Extremely saucy pizza and the sauce is overly spicy.
So if that's the kind of pizza you like then this may be your spot...

We really never realized what a great deal Barro's is until recently.

Extra Large Pizza with 1 topping "pineapple" 12 or 14 slices.

A tall draft beer " our was Four Peaks Kilt Lifter.

A fountain drink, "Ours was Iced Tea unlimited refills.

A great Barro's! Love the decor, lots of tv screens, and very good customer service. Pepperoni pizza was cooked perfectly and tasted no malicious  We've been to other Barro's around town, but this one has a very unique and welcoming vibe - will definitely be back for more!

Never again. I live close to this location and my order has been wrong 3 times in a row. They really need to clean house there because I don't experience this at any other barros location. I order extra sauce on my wings and they come dry with no sauce. No apologies ever. This time I had to drive all the way back there and they couldn't care less. No attempt to make it right. I'm never ordering from barros ever again. It's expensive so I expect my order to be right!!!

Same good Vegan Pie & a better red wine to offer. In addition to the pizza, they offer wings, pasta, cold subs & desserts.

I have to state that the customer service here tops the other location I've been to at 24th/Baseline...no shade though.

For Carry Out orders, customers are treated to dedicated parking spaces up front, adjacent to the huge parking lot next to the restaurant.

Personal note, the young ladies behind the counter catered to my GrandDaughter with such welcoming & friendly care, it was impressive & much appreciative.

When in the area, I'll be back.

Pizza and wings are great but the front counter girls are really snooty, it's really a hit or miss with pleasurable customer service with them. They obviously don't take friendly jokes and are not friendly at all. Maybe it's me, but still I think the customer experience is horrible

Barro's is another pizza joint near me, including Z Pizza, Pino's Pizza, MOD Pizza, etc. I've driven by so many times but never tried. Do I ever tire of pizza? NO! So YES! I must complete my mission of trying all pizza places within a five-mile radius of my house.

As my three star rating indicates, this place was "just OK." It's a step up from a Peter Piper: order at the counter, get your own drink & then staff brings your order to you. Everything is served with disposable paper lining on plates + plastic silverware.

My Caesar salad was huge but the Caesar dressing was gross, not tasty as far as seasonings, consistency, flavor. Fortunately dressnig came on the side & I used it sparingly.

My small pepperoni pizza was nothing special - not the crust, cheese, sauce, or topping. I read the menu about this being Chicago-style/deep dish so I expected more from the crust. Dare I say it?! But... I think Safeway's own brand (yes in times of desperate pizza need!) that I buy and bake is just as good.  

On another note: the staff was super accommodating/helpful.

Love the people at this location! Always great pizzas and ALWAYS accommodating for my special requests! Tonight, my pizza and wings even came with a chuckle! Cheers, Barros!!
