Bark Coffee

Very quiet, but spacious coffee shop on the corner of the street. Decent tables with some outlets and stable wifi, but chairs aren't super comfortable for long stays.

+ Hot Pistachio Oatmilk Latte ($5.25; less sweet): the perfect pistachio latte (they use the monin pistachio syrup)

To everyone reading this, I highly suggest a visit to very underrated uptown Whittier- lots of neat, fun spots with a retro vibe! Bark is a nice calm little coffee spot with minimalist decor and a handful of indoor tables where I had a pretty solid oat milk latte. There's a small pastry selection. Barista was quick.

Coffee was unfortunately burnt and was too hot for a latte. It was empty inside but the other reviews don't provide a good overview of this place.

This place is great if you're waiting for a restaurant or any other business in the area to open up. The ambiance is great and is really suitable for meetings, if you want to study or work on a group project, or simply chill out.

I ordered a large oat milk latte with sugar free hazelnut, and it tasted pretty good. It wasn't overly sweet or overpowering. You can choose sweetness in the range of percentages--from 100% to 0%.

The line did get a little long with the lady being the only one working to make the drinks or prepare food.

She did some twinkly finger thing when pointing the cups to ask what size drink I wanted.

I must say the cup design is pretty awesome though. There's a spill cap that you kind of click into place between drinking and not drinking, so if you're walking or driving and want to prevent spills, covering the top with that cap is pretty awesome. It's also attached to the lid so you won't lose it.

All in all, it's worth a visit and trying if you're in the mood for coffee and a snack. I didn't order a snack, but several people in line did.

Not many food options but plenty of coffee and tea ones! I noticed they had milkshakes too
I got lavender latte iced with oatmilk 24 oz for under $7 is a steal to be honest.
Service was very quick
It's a quiet place; they didn't have music playing or if they did was very quiet. This could be a good place for completing personal work, or reading, or coming alone as they have plenty of tables but I wouldn't recommend coming to chat with friends as most people are working on personal work and being respectful of staying quiet!

Cute coffee shop! Love their size and ample seating. Liked their matcha latte (though it was kinda on the too milky side). Loved that it had AC for a summer day.

There was only one barista when I went but she was sweet. Good service.

Downside is parking. Good luck finding a spot for more than a 2 hour limit! Other than that, great local place and I'd be willing to support this place again.

I am glad I was able to find this coffee shop. I was in need of a place to study and this might be my go to spot. Located in a quiet area with a spacious interior is the perfect place to study. The coffee is also very nice. I will be coming here more oftenz

Bark Coffee is my favorite place to go for a good drink & chill atmosphere. The owner is very nice & quick with making drinks. My go-to recently has been the mocha with oat milk it is very chocolatey & creamy! As I study for a board exam I love to come here to get some studying done because it is so quiet & a great place to be productive with work I highly recommend you stop by to support this amazing coffee shop in uptown! Next time I'm thinking about trying a blended drink because they look so very yummy!

Most of the time that I go in, it's for a Affogato. A nice warm espresso shot which there vanilla bean ice cream, really does hit the spot for a sweet but quick way for caffeine. And if you want to add syrup you but it be a lil extra- worth it. The owner is always friendly. It's also a good place to do work/ school work as it very big and colorful. Just be careful, parking will be kind of hard as you will have to park on the street which is between pretty busy restaurants.
