I come here with my mum for lunch specials. I can only speak of lunch time. The service is fast, friendly and the prices are ideal. I feel the decor is abit dark though and it needs updating to to be bright and upbeat.

I'm not a Camden local, but I am here a bit because it is about halfway for a girlfriend and I to sort the problems of the world, review the latest haircuts, suitors, & handbags and plan the future getaways. In truth, the hairstyles and holidays, men & mischief seem to take up most of our time. World peace will have to get another venue.
Barenz opens early, has a fair menu selection, and consistently offers good service. The place is quite large so you can usually grab a table that is a bit discrete and you're not over sharing your life events with the people around you.
My friend and I have been known to have an early meet up here, wander the Camden shopping precinct and return for a bite from the Lunch menu.

The service was slow to start with however it picked up very quickly which is normal in hospitality.
We had a variety of meals and they all we're extremely satisfying. Very happy with the service and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Will return again

Always great contemporary food. We are having the $10 pasta on Wednesdays. On Thursday's, it's $10 pizza and Tues-Fri $16 lunches (Barenz closed Monday's). The menu caters for a lot of tastes, so no matter what style of contemporary fair you are after, it should meet requirements. It is also licensed, so if you feel like a cold beer, wine, champagne or cocktails, you can indulge a little. Desserts are also quite nice plus there are a selection of cakes and pastries to choose from. Great for families or date night alike.

Love this place! Since the first visit in Jan, been there twice and is always good. We had the lamb salad (really tender), pizza (the best dish) and bruschetta plate

Been here with family a few times! Always great food and love the live music when it's there. Nice cocktails and good food. The desserts are also yum!

There meals are fantastic whether just for a snack or full sit down meal. And they know how to make a decent coffee. Will return.

Great food, only complaint is if they are busy on a Sunday morning for breakfast I really have not enjoyed my meal it seems like I have to send it back all the time, just hate doing that so I don't do breakfast there anymore. But don't let this put you off as they are a great restaurant.
