They're at a new location - 210 Main Street, at the corner of Route 92 above Coastside Eye Care, on the 2nd floor. Absolutely love the new location. Certainly an upgrade, spacious rooms and even a shower should you want to rinse off the oils after. Being that I flew into town and was only around for 48 hours, seeing Alia was among most paramount of things on my entire agenda. Of course she is one of the reasons I come out to California in the first place. My next visit in a couple weeks is simply for Alia, nothing else. She's simply that incredible to work with.

No longer a stranger as we've been working together now since early February, I can say with confidence and a smile, that there is a true beauty in building such a healthy and gorgeous therapeutic foundation among the pillars of such a wondrous and glorious healer as Alia. It's a beautifully awesome process that can't be explained, just something to discover and build yourself.

My last session literally left me speechless, wanting nothing more than to just lay there for hours and bask in the afterglow of it all. It's a true cathartic takeover of mind, body and soul. She has that ability to reach into all of that. Within the capacity of each session there's such spiritual energy, the incredible innate ability she has to reach another dimension with you, it's spiritually arresting of body and spirit and it brings oneself to such a blissfully contented apex of maximum comfort and an air of absolute total relaxation.

Alia is a joyous rarity to be as skilled at her craft as she is. She is an amazing, beautiful soul whose one true priority is simply your very own well-being. Call her a healer, a therapist, an artist - they all apply. Her gift is absolutely undeniable and it's a blessing to be a recipient of such. I could continue to wax poetic, but a massage simply has to be experienced firsthand to truly appreciate her gift.

Choosing to work with Alia is one of the best life decisions I have EVER made. And I can say that with 100% confidence without any hesitation. She is a true healer. My body, my mind and my spirit are in a vastly greater and thus, much healthier state as a result of our continual work together. I cannot recommend her any more highly than I have over my last couple of reviews. Based on other reviews, you'll see I'm not alone in this thinking. Thank you, Alia. You are a true gem. May the sessions continue to carry on for what I hope is years to come!

For me it's all about the massage. And today Cheryl made me a huge fan and so glad we found this location. My husband had a deep tissue massage with Susan and is also a fan. We found the place clean and it had enough of a relaxing atmosphere to make us feel ready to sink into it. But the actual massages exceeded expectations and we will be returning. We did 90 minutes and I would gladly have stayed for 90 more!!

Really disappointing massages. I purchased deep tissue and this was clearly not the preferred technique of therapist. I had to keep asking for more pressure, to the point where I gave up. My companion had a similar experience. I love getting massages and do so often, and this was actually the worst I can remember. It was very mechanical and void of healing touch. After it was over, the first thing my therapist asked was whether I wanted to tip in cash or Venmo. I left with a really bad taste in my mouth and cancelled the massage I had pre-purchased for someone else as a gift.

Massages were okay. Masseuses' techniques are fine, just not amazing sorry to say. Not worth the price of the massages, though I don't mind paying for good massages.

Definitely coming back, and h recommend to all!

My boyfriend and I went into BalanCenter the other day to get 60-minute Swedish massages and left feeling great! Our masseuses, Susan and Flora were very attentive to our needs and made sure to concentrate on all the problem areas we specified at the beginning of our session. Both Susan and Flora were also very informative, at the end of our session they mentioned how to even help target and the issues we were having from previous injuries and traumas, to help ease tension.

I had my session with Susan, who again was focused on addressing the issues I had in my lower back, hips, and shoulders (as this is where I held the most tension.) She made sure that I felt comfortable, and was very accommodating ensuring she was applying enough pressure, which I appreciated as some places really like to put a lot of pressure without asking the client.

Overall, the service was very professional, and both Susan and Flora made sure to create a meaningful guest experience through their attentiveness and by providing a soothing and calm environment.

I have had massage in multiple countries and some amazing resorts - known for their Spa and massage. However, my massage with Alia today was the best massage I have ever had! Just an excellent masseuse!

Nice, well decorated and very clean massage facility.

From the first interaction with my massage therapist at The BalanCenter, it was evident that they were interested and able to address my chronic shoulder and back stiffness. A treat after a long trip and ahead of a long flight back home.

I receive massage every other week and this may have been the most therapeutic massage for two reasons. First, the amount of information my therapist accurately absorbed about my issues was unprecedented in my 30 years of receiving massage and physical therapy. Second, my therapist transcribed the problem areas in a text to help me facilitate my therapy when I get back home. Thank you so much Team BalanCenter! Will definitely make an appointment when next in town.

Trava was my therapist and she was amazing. A very intuitive and skilled masseuse. I had a medical deep tissue massage and it was certainly the best I have had. She was knowledgeable and coached me in stretches and taught me what was going on. And for a first time client, I was certainly impressed at her ability to see what was going on with me. Not to mention she had a very pleasant personality. I highly recommend her.

Update! I had to go back and Trava is still amazing. If you need healing and deep tissue work instead just the touristy fake massage she's the one! Love you Trava! You work miracles.

Trava has magic hands!! I enjoy deep massage and few practitioners satisfy my aching muscles consistently. I have lived in many cities and I've always received regular massages. She truly is the best for me. She has healed the tmj pain that I didn't know I could live without. Not to mention her shining personality! Her calm gentle presence combined with her skill and knowledge of human anatomy really make for a relaxing 90 minutes!!

Trava is my favorite massage therapist I've ever had. She tracks my progress and helps me relax after a long day. She can expertly blend different styles of massage, including Thai, deep tissue, and Swedish. The music and ambience provided at the center is super calming and I've had a noticeable difference in my back ever since going to Trava! Location is great too! I never have to search for parking!
