Bah Hum Bug Pest & Termite

I highly recommend Bah Hum Bug Pest and Termite, Inc. If anyone needs a Termite report for a VA Loan or VA RE-FI, give them a call.

I called and got next day service. Also, I choose this company because the owner, manager and service manager are all Veterans.

Everyone I dealt with from Nicki at the office and Syd Tyson whom did our Termite Inspection were friendly and polite.

I've never written a review before, but this was necessary.

I have a severe irrational phobia to a certain kind of bug - so severe I can't even type the name without feeling awful. But I'll tell you there are two kinds - German and American, they are large and in charge, and they're horrifying. Ugh. Even typing that makes my skin crawl.

Anyway. I moved into an old unit in Ghent in the summer with poorly sealed windows and it was only a matter of time before it happened (seeing one). And when it did, I couldn't enter the apartment for 20 minutes. What I did do, however, is research companies nearby and find these guys. I set up an appointment right away.

Chris, who I'm not sure if he's still there, was nothing short of an angel from the heavens. He put up with my neurotic phobia and anxiety and was both funny and informative and through. As he treated he taught me about the things I feared and his patience was everlasting.

I just moved out 13 months after I moved in - and I can safely say I never saw another one ever again. This includes going through a brutally humid summer/fall and an almost-hurricane, and he told me that everyone around me was getting inundated with these "beasties". But I wasn't.

Anytime I had issues with any other bug, he would come by as soon as he could to take care of it. He passed the torch onto Stephen, who was also awesome and kind, and I could not say enough wonderful things about this company. I wish I could take them with me wherever I go!

Tldr: I'm terrified of bugs. These guys made it so I never saw bugs. Use them!

Consistent superior customer service, always courteous and professional. Provides termite service on a yearly contract. Very reasonable prices. Provides moisture and termite inspection for sale of a home. Highly recommend this company! Very happy we called them and will refer them every chance we get! Thank you Bah- humbug for all you do!

Today was my first time using Bah-Hum-Bug and I had a wonderful experience. The exterminator was very informative and had great customer service. He explained everything to me and walked me through the process step by step.. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I had a very good experience with this company. After a couple of fiascos with other contractors, they were a breath of fresh air. We had cracks in the wall of our home and a door was sticking severely due to a foundation problem in our home. We called Bah-Hum-Bug, and Syd came over for the inspection. He was very knowledgeable and personable. He took pictures and explained in laymen terms what needed to be done in a way I could understand. When the work was started, he let me know when he was on my property and when he left. He tried to save me money by using the most economical method. The job was finished ahead of schedule. They took pictures after the work was finished and gave them to me so that I could see what took place without having to go in my crawl space. I was told if I have any issues after reviewing the pictures that I should call and they would make things right. That gave me a level of peace and comfort. I would highly recommend this company if you need any foundation work done to your home,

Excellent company with reasonable prices. I pay 125 yearly for termite bond and inspection and 85 quarterly for home and lawn treatment. Bah Hum BuG had resolved my friend's German roach infestation so I had called them when I had any problems. I haven't had an issue in the 5 plus years I have been with them. Highly recommend!

Very helpful. Came twice, at no charge the second time. Arrived on time and able to come soon after our initial call. Gave us a referral to a real estate agent, which ended up being very helpful.
