Backstreets Pub & Grill

It was a cool little spot for hanging out. The college students loved it. We were hanging out with our son for graduation and played pool. I wish we had tried the food since everyone said they had good wings.

Never had a meal here but you really can't go wrong with a bar in a college town with cheap drinks. Lots of staff and Thursday night is liquor pitcher night. They are delicious and the drinks are strong.

Favorite place to eat downtown and my favorite bar atmosphere in Clemson. Couldn't recommend a place more highly (although I wish they put the grilled cheesus back on the menu!).

A Clemson staple. Backstreets is the nostalgic place that takes us back to our undergrad years. The memories are great - but so is the food. Hands down some of the best wings you'll have. We love you Backstreets!

It's like TTTS little cousin. It's exactly what you think of when you think of a grungy college sports bar. Another good place to go sit and sip on a beer. Amazing food- wings and the wraps are superb.

GREAT sandwiches, wraps, bird dogs etc. Great drink options and fun atmosphere. I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese or the Dubie Wrap!

one star straight for the bouncers. Everything else was great but the bouncers couldnt be more rude or any bigger of pricks. Keep in mind were all of age minding our own business. Terrible attitudes

The worst food and service I've ever ever had!! The employees and manager are very unfriendly and the price isn't worth it!

Stopped in at this local's hangout (no college students in sight).  Upstairs was very nice and bright, tall tables with padded bottoms and backs, and a 75 cents pooltable (with really weird bumpers, so when banking your shots, they don't really do what they are suppose to do).    Nice staff.  Bathrooms clean.  Nice drinks - real glasses, real free pour.  No food, but it looked and smelled good what I saw.    The bottom (former "private club for the locals" was strange. The bathrooms had mildew all over - basically washed my hands and ran out out of there and straight outside.

Only reason I give one star is because the bartenders are amazing, so nice, and drink are fabulous. Anyway I came here as an Alumni with my family. We decided to go here to get a drink. The bouncer was nice (so we thought) and we gave him a cigarette because he was complaining he was out. My cousin was being funny and pretended to pick up the wooden statue by the front. Out of nowhere the same bouncer (curly hair, short) picks up my cousin, no warning at all, and throws him through the doors and he lands face first on the concrete. There was never a warning and he was not harming anyone at all. This was super disappointing from this bar. We came for a family outing and this is what we get? My cousin went home that night with blood and cuts all down his arms from this bouncer aggression. It was clear the aggression was coming from somewhere else because the response was not appropriate to the situation. A nice, hey can you not do that or we're gonna have to ask you to leave would have sufficed. We said the other bouncer "Are you serious, was that necessary?" , to where he turned a blind eye because what could he do. Love Clemson, love downtown, but will never take my family or friends here again. Not a reflection of the bar itself, just the overly aggressive bouncer.
