Baby Bodyguards

As first-time parents, we could not have been more happy with Baby Bodyguards! They were responsive, courteous, and professional. Fred and Courtney both answered all of our (endless) questions cheerfully and thoroughly, and the actual baby-proofing could not have gone more smoothly. We will sleep much easier at night knowing that our little girl is safe!

I knew it was time to babyproof my house when my 14 month old son decided to scale a 9 foot TV cabinet we had in our dining room in the time it took to go answer the phone. I asked around and a friend recommended Baby Bodyguards. I expected them to come to my home and find a million things to scare me with and charge me a fortune for, but that couldn't be further from what actually happened.

I called and made an appointment for a consultation, and they were there within a day or two! Fred came to my home to evaluate my situation, and he pointed out a few things I hadn't even thought of, such as securing my bedroom bureau to the wall and installing a lock for my toilet seat. He was polite, professional and courteous and his recommendations stayed well within my budget, but made sure that my son would no longer be able to get up onto the furniture and hurt himself.

I couldn't have been happier with the service they provided me and the peace of mind I got knowing that my home would be a much safer environment for my baby. He even went out to my car to ensure that my carseat was installed properly!

I highly recommend Baby Bodyguards to anyone looking to babyproof their home. They were fast, efficient and affordable and when I have my next child, they will be the first ones I call before they start climbing the walls again!

I contacted Fred after my husband and I tried to install baby gates by ourselves for 3 hours without success. Fred did a thorough 45 minute walk through of my home via FaceTime and then sent Carlos to my house to baby-proof everything! He installed gates that blend into my staircases, cabinet locks, outlet protectors, anti-tip devices for my furniture, and corner guards. Carlos was fantastic and everything is perfect and safe now for my baby!

Horrible customer service. I've been trying over a number of days to get a car seat installed as I can go into labor any day now which I've expressed to the owner via Yelp who instructed me to send an email. I've sent numerous emails and no one ever responds. I call them no one responds. Not sure about these fake reviews or if they just don't want to help me just say so vs wasting my time as I have to send constant follow ups and nothing resolved. What would make me even comfortable using a company like this?! So ridiculous. Then the owner tells me that Courtney whoever that is one of his workers emailed me but she never responded to any of my 3 emails I sent she just made up an email address with my name to a different email domain. Like why lie if you guys are not going to do it just say so vs wasting precious days of my time when I could've had the car seat installed. As everyone knows I can not leave the hospital after giving birth without a car seat hence why I thought I was reaching out to a reputable company in advance of that. Not sure why I'm getting this treatment or perhaps they only deal with Caucasian customers. Again I would not recommend this company to anyone! Not even my worst enemy!

Also to update I'm not having trouble emailing this company as I've sent it to the 3 email addresses they provided me but again no one responds. Try giving them a call no one even answer the phone. Just horrible and annoyed to deal with this while pregnant. Should not be this difficult to book getting a car seat installed but no I have to go back and forth on Yelp messages when it could have already been installed by now. Ridiculous again use them at your own discretion but I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy as they are a complete waste of time and are unable to help you until you post a review which no I don't want your help why would I trust a company that has treated me like this where I basically have to chase them down to get an appointment and so unresponsive as according to Fred the owner they can't do anything over Yelp messages I'm like email me you have my email and number and again no action or initiative was taken on their part. Therefore I will take my business and money elsewhere. Just regret wasting my time reaching out to this company in the first place.

Courtney was absolutely fantastic! She came to our home and walked us (6 people total) through the infant CPR training and what to do if the baby starts choking. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the topics. She answered all of our questions and made everything easy to understand. She even checked our car seat to make sure we installed everything correctly. You can't put a price on the safety and well-being of your child but I found this service to be very affordable. I would highly recommend Baby Bodyguards!

We hired Baby Bodyguards to baby proof our apartment. Fred, Courtney, and Carlos were very helpful and knowledgeable. The consultation was 30 minutes and the installation was 2 hours. We are so glad we hired professionals and saved ourselves the time, energy, and hassle. The cost was well worth it and much cheaper than a trip to the ER. One of the best gifts I have given myself!

We worked with baby bodyguards to baby proof our apartment and I am so glad we did. They responded promptly to my email requesting more information and scheduled a FaceTime apartment walk through. Not only did that give them an idea of what needed to be baby proofed in my specific apartment, I also learned a lot about potential hazards. They provided a useful document I can consult going forward. The actual installation by Carlos was quick and he did a great job. Expensive, but worth it to me for peace of mind and to take this off my to do list.

We did our preliminary baby proofing with Baby Bodyguards and then returned to them for window guards just recently. The peace of mind of having someone who knows what they are doing come in and essentially sweep the apartment top to bottom is worth every penny! It felt like my son became mobile overnight - and Baby Bodyguards was the quickest company to schedule us in when time was of the essence. Although our building offers free window guards - they are those old rusty black things common in apartment buildings. For something as prominent as our windows, spending the extra money for new white ones (that are by the way convenient because they have a latch to remove for things like cleaning the exterior of the windows) is well worth it. The team is super easy to work with, pleasant, and left no mess behind.

My husband and I used Baby Bodyguards for a car seat installation session (first time parents here!) Fred and Courtney were great! Very responsive to email. We learned a lot more tips from the lesson than we actually thought we would. Awesome experience overall-would highly recommend!

After they installed our window guards we had Baby Bodyguards come and childproof our whole house and I'm so glad we did. My son is one of those kids who gets into everything and a year later all the childproofing is really working out and going strong. They did a great job and have even done my mother-in-laws place too. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic service and value. My wife and I scheduled an in-person car seat installation with Baby Bodyguards. Courtney helped us figure out logistics, responding quickly to email, and Fred guided us during the actual lesson. He took care to show us all the installation options, watched us do it ourselves, and took silly first-time-parent questions. All throughout he was funny, patient, and dedicated to leaving us more knowledgeable and confident than when we arrived. He didn't bat an eye when I obliviously sent him a friend request instead of payment on the pre-arranged app. Great experience all around!
