AZ GRIP-N-RIP Batting Cages

This place is cool!  I took my kids and they completely enjoyed themselves.

Great cages with affordable prices. Take my son here all the time and we go here several times during the baseball season to get some practice in. I didn't even know it was where it was because it's a tad but hidden in down off the main road! But this place is great extra bats and helmets to use Incase you don't have one.

This place has all your need for pitching and batting practice. They also offer hitting and pitching lesson by some of the best coach's in the Valley. My daughter has been getting lesson with Rocky Parra and is great, she loves going. The customer service by the owner is also great, I spoke to him personally when we had signed up for a clinic that was cancelled and I was having issues getting my refund back but he took the time on a Sunday to make sure I got my refund back the fastest way possible and made sure I received it.

Nice facility but grossly overpriced at $15 for 15 minutes in my opinion.  This probably explains why we were the only people there.

EXPENSIVE! Up to 80% more than other facilities. Balls were in horrible shape , no dimples chunks missing. Theu were flying all over the place. Couldnt get a decent practice session in . Would not recommend

Been coming here for many years but had some pretty crappy customer service on Thursday evening.  Don't let teenagers run the place at night.

We went with a group of high school boys on an evening during the week and had the entire place to ourselves. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is a great facility for using the pitching machines or if you just want to do some tee work, soft toss or actually have some throw BP it's all doable at this facility. Prices are very reasonable in my opinion and the staff are generous with your paid time. Check them out!

This place is ok in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of the fact that these batting cages require you to pick up your own balls. I'm not sure if all the batting cages in Arizona are this way, but it takes up some of your paid time to pick up all the balls and then have to put it back in. When you're paying for time that part kind of sucks. Also, you can't change the height or speed of these pitches depending on which batter steps in. So if you're a bigger guy taking turns with a little guy, you both are set on one speed and one height and I don't want to constantly bug the guys working in the front to change every time we take turns. That can be a pain and time consuming too. I still give it 3 stars though since it's the only batting cage in the area.

This is nice little place to be able to take my daughter to get some quick batting practice in. The sessions are in 15 min increments. I say we can get 100-120 balls in during each 15 min session so the $10 per 15 min goes further than a pay for balls batting cage. The staff is friendly but you have to call ahead to get a time.

Had a great time there today. Employee was very helpful!! Fun times with friends. Definitely recommend visiting with friends and sharing a lane for a super manly competition.
