About the Business
The Axelrod Performing Arts Center fosters artistic excellence by showcasing varied and distinct cultural programs which enrich the imaginative, intellectual and creative soul, and cultivate an appreciation of our diverse communities through the pursuit of the arts. A 501(c)(3) organization, funding support for the Axelrod PAC comes from individuals, foundations, and grants that enable the arts center to present our year-round events and programming. We want to thank our patrons and donors that support the Axelrod Performing Arts Center annually. The Axerlod PAC produces professional regional theater on the Jersey Shore plus concerts, youth programming, film festivals and more.

They always offer excellent entertainment done by professionals both on stage and behind the scenes. A Broadway level experience without exorbitant cost! And, did we mention that it's located is an absolutely beautiful seashore community with plenty of ample free parking. Minutes from Long branch, Asbury Park, Point Pleasant and many other attractions.

I have 4 tickets for the 4/5/20 show Satchmo in New Orleans. Of course it was canceled because of the Covid19 virus and overall shutdown of everything in NJ...It is rescheduled for 8/30...They sent a notice that if we can't attend the new performance they will issue theater credit for any other show...I notified them that I will be unable to attend the show and have no interest in attending any others and asked for a full refund. I'm aware they have a no refund policy but I told them that this cancellation was due to a national emergency and suggested they should show some more flexibility with their rules. Their reply was that I could donate the tickets as a charitable deduction. If I wanted to make a charitable donation, it would be to someone or some health related organization of my choice, not theirs....I really find their stubborn attitude about this policy, under these circumstances, selfish and can assure them, I will never attend any performance again..and suggest the same to friends.
