Amazing food, and great service. Also love the atmosphere. You get the atmosphere of a fine restaurant in a small town.

A fellow Yelper voted on one of my Martinsville reviews and as I was reading her profile I found this place was reviewed well by her so I added it to my To Try Next list. I stopped in for lunch today. At first glance you would think it is a dinner only place with the linen tablecloths but they are open for lunch too. They have been an Italian cuisine restaurant since October of last year.

I ordered the Lasagna with meat sauce. It comes with a side salad. I really loved the lasagna and there was no ricotta cheese in it which I liked too. The salad was excellent too and just the right size.

Their desserts are not listed on the menu which I assume is because they change too often. Today they offered three selections. I ordered the Italian Cream Cake with coconut icing for dessert.

Dean Martin was singing from their music system and I thought it was appropriate for the decor of this restaurant.

Okay so all of the above text populated when I went to review this place since I did not see my review which I knew I had composed previously. But if I forgot to post it why wasn't it in my Review Drafts? Very strange. The above review is probably at least a year old so here is today's experience.

Today I noticed the furnishings are more plentiful. The shelves have more knickknacks and vases. They still do the linen tablecloths for lunch which raises the class of this establishment. The music is all instrumental and Italian.

I ordered the Lasagna again and my granddaughter ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. She could have ordered it with shrimp. The sausage in the lasagna is not spicy at all and doesn't overwhelm the entree. The food was excellent. Worthy of the entire five star rating as well as the ambience and decor.

We ordered Tiramisu and Cannolis with Carmel sauce on top to go. The desserts were delicious.

Came here for my dad's birthday. Food was pretty good, fettuccine Alfredo tasted good and their canolis are delicious. If you're craving Italian this a decent place to go to.

Good service, nice variety. We covered all parts of menu with Tour de Awnies, bruschetta, caprese. All tasty enough to clear our plates. Dessert tiramisu finished a good time . Jazzy music playing.

This ambiance in here is great. There's a tin roof and beautiful old wood decor.

The food was delicious. I had the lasagna. It had a great ratio of filling to pasta and plenty of sauce. The Caesar salad was good, although I was disappointed that they don't have anchovies.

Our server was wonderful. She walked us through the menu and answered all of our questions. We had a lovely lunch date here!

We met my sister at the restaurant for lunch. The street parking is great. The handicapped ramps by the city are almost nonexistent. The waiter was delightful and made sure we were well taken care of. All the food is prepared from scratch and arrived promptly. The home-made italian dressing on the wrap was a delightful touch. The building ages gracefully and is early 20th century. Their biggest challenge on a Saturday was it is an undiscovered treasure. If you are looking for a great restaurant even on a Saturday afternoon, give them a try!

We were on our way back from Indy and randomly found this gem. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The place was super cute. We would definitely eat there again.

The restaurant ambiance was beautiful. The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was fantastic also. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer...mixed...amazing. the zappa soup was good. I had the lasagna...half marina half alfredo...omg...so good! My friend had the spinach pasta...so good. We topped it off with tiramisu. We were on our way to the IU graduation and wanted to somewhere in Martinsville instead of Bloomington due to traffic. We were so happy to find the reviews on this place and decided to eat there. We were so grateful we did. To top it off, we celebrated an early Mother's Day dinner for my friend. I highly recommend this place. What a gem! We will be back another time when we are in the area. This restaurant did not disappoint!

What a diamond in the rough this place is. I never would have thought such a classy Italian restaurant could exist in Martinsville. The food is all homemade and the dining room is beautiful (white cloth). Service is impeccable and the food matched the service. This place could become a local classic as long as residents support such a place.

Very good menu selection. We had the bruschetta and chicken parm and the Tour and tiramisu, for lunch! Planning to go back for dinner with friends. Our server Samuel was very friendly and attentive. Nicely finished interior.
