Avenue Terrace Playground

Great local park to bring your kids too! I appreciate the open grassy area in the park and parents can bring a picnic and lay out or practice batting or soccer with the little ones. There's also a basketball court which doubles as a place for bikes and other ride on toys that people leave.

What is not cool is that there is apparently a neighbor dislikes the tradition of leaving used toys at the playground and cleans out the toys every so often so the park goes through periods where there are no toys left behind for children to play with. This is the best part of the park in my opinion is the opportunity to explore multiple toys without the hassle of having them at home.

There's a toddler area as well but beware that there are no bathrooms here! This is a big drawback that causes our time at Jordan Avenue limited.

Love this park! But what happened to all the toys?!? Lame.
It's been so fun for my toddler to try out the different toys and it added such a special element.

Just moved into the area and took a walk to this park. Pros- tons of families with their toddlers, friendly neighbors, and tons of room. Cons: the toys are great but some seemed janky and probably unsafe. It would be good to organize a clean up
Once in a while to make sure the toys are safe.

Overall great neighborhood park.

My family's new favorite playground. It has plenty of toys left by parents so there's no ounce of an instance or boredom. Excellent place for a picnic and "dinner in the park". Bring a blanket and get comfy!

Kids love it here. A land mine of bikes, scooters and toys to play with here! A field for soccer, too.

Great for any neighborhood to have a gated playground dedicated to the little ones with something for the grown ups to enjoy also (shooting baskets, exercise/run/play on the grass field).

However, this park is in need of major cleaning, maintenance and improvements. Its' popularity and heavy use demands the attention.

More garbage bins of appropriate sizes (not the cardboard type ) should be provided. There is too much litter all around (that includes dilapidated toys). Please, If a toy is not something you want your child to keep in your home any longer, do Not "donate" it to anyone or this park.

Grass field should at least be mowed regularly to facilitate litter removal and making ground holes/uneven surfaces visible to prevent risk of injury to users.

Installing basic toilet facilities ( the permanent or portable type for individual use only) should be strongly considered as it IS a necessity when children are having to relieve themselves in the perimeters of the park.

I love this park ,you can bring your children to play ,don't worry about being a toy with them ,THEY HAVE THEM THERE ALREADY !! The neighborhood community recycle them an bring them so the kids can play ..it's only one way in and one way out !! Kids can't not get lost but very easy can be watch .. only problem just needs a restroom .. parking is easy and convenient !! Water fountain is there as well

Would be a perfect park if it had a restroom! There's tons of stuff for toddlers...a grassy field, sand, 2 play structures, and donated toys galore!

Hello everyone. I wanted to give a big shoutout to Leslie, one of the instructors, her classes are so good. I take her Monday class and it's challenging and fun and I really get a good work out. I felt it in my abs for days and I wasn't sweaty after class and she can customize the class for all levels even newbies.

This park is so great. There are always a TON of kids, and people leave toys for everyone to play with. It's gated, so little ones can't just toddle out. Excellent flat grass for kicking around a ball, too.
