After experiencing poor customer service from my local Toyota dealerships I decided to look a little further and found Autonation Toyota in Cerritos. From the moment I requested a quote, I was contacted by sales man Mike Gibson who was more than willing to offer his assistance in providing me with an even better option than I thought I'd get. He understood my busy schedule and was willing to communicate via email to answer all my questions. I understand that for most online sales reps, finding leads online isn't always easy nor do they follow through but Mike was different. He took my inquiry very serious, read all my lengthy emails, addressed my skepticism when it comes to dealership's I've dealt with in the past, and kept me in the loop of what was going on every step of the way. With the help of his Manager, Danielle Maynard, they were able to offer me a great deal on a new Avalon (my dream car). I must admit I was surprised by the luxury of the vehicle for the price I was financing. They assisted me with returning my lease early and made the process so much easier than I could have imagined.
By the time I went into the dealership, most of the work was already done. I was greeted by Danielle and shown the vehicle I'd be purchasing. Mike was great in keeping me informed of what was going on,, I wasn't left alone for long periods of time not knowing what was going on. I'd literally see him running from one place to the other in order to get me out of there as soon as possible (per my request). Finally, I met with the Finance manager Sergio Rodriguez. From past experience, I was prepared for this part to be the most intense out of the whole experience. I went in preparing for my numbers to change or something to go wrong. Instead, I was welcomed by a very friendly Finance manager who not only made me feel at ease, but was also very informative in terms I could understand. He answered all my questions to the best of his knowledge, and that's what sealed the deal for me. The following day I was worried I could have left a very important document in the car I traded in and, sure enough, I was contacted by Kent who went to the car and looked thoroughly for it. BAIT-AND-SWITCH DEALERSHIP!!
My mother purchased a car from here a week ago and had the worst customer service experience. She ultimately purchased the car because it was exactly what she wanted and it was a great deal. However, the sales team pulled a bait-and-switch on us that didn't work. THIS IS ILLEGAL.
We found the car online and called the dealership, they sent us an email to reserve the car to test drive it that weekend. We were in contact with the sales representative, Sergio, everyday from Wednesday until Saturday as we were filling out online forms to trade in a current car. We were sent confirmation emails stating what car was being reserved and it included ALL CAR DETAILS & THE LISTING PRICE of $23,889. So when we arrived on Saturday and Sergio told us they had a "NO Haggle policy and that the price listed on the car is the price you pay" we were shocked when he pulled the car around and the sticker on the car said $25,500. I was floored to think that someone would actually try to pull off an illegal marketing tactic, bait-and-switch.
I assume Sergio thought that because we were female we would be an easy target. I pulled up the confirmation emails stating the actual listed price and told him we would be purchasing the car for $23,889. He looked stunned.
The finance representative, Alex, who was abrasive and irritable, then proceeded to try and give my mom an interest rate well above the current APR at the moment and would not budge. They had us in the dealership for over 3 hours trying to sell us every mark-up possible, they seemed to be taking their time on purpose to wear us down. We decided to find our own financing outside of this dealership.
Clearly their tactic is to price cars online for a great price, lure you down and switch the price on you, then get you to finance for an insane rate.

Regarding sales; If you need a vehicle please go with Pedro! He's the best and very informative. I was contacted by him after I went through the Costco program. The rest was history.

I have gone to this service station for the past 5 years and they have been overpriced. This time I went in for a service and they had a rental car but they wanted to charge me. That has never happened before. They said if I spend over $400, I wouldn't have to pay for the rental. I ended up spending $700 and wasting 2 hours waiting for rides to and from work. I will never return!

Came here my 2nd time. First time was due to a tire rotation and 2nd time for Oil Change. Both times, my experience has been that customer service was top notch. Very organized and on-point with assisting customers. I was approached almost immediately by customer service reps the minute i drive into the service shop.
I would recommend to make an appointment as the wait can be long. Understandably so, a lot of customers go to this service center to have their cars maintenanced.
Also, I would like to mention the manager John H. who assisted me fixing a broken tail light as a compliment to their good services.
Overall,
I highly recommend this facility for servicing your cars.
If you have issues with the wait time, i would suggest:
1. make an appointment

Not a good first impression. I was told getting tires was only going to take 3 hours. 5 hours later I'm told soon. Never again. I will never bring my car here again. Thought it was a good deal. How is sitting here all day a good deal. They broke the lug nut and said whoever put it on before torqued it too much. AAA did it by hand. Then I get charged $140 more.

Place stops caring about you once you buy / lease the car. Customer service totally changes. They revoked the car wash policy even though the drought is over and worst off they didn't find a way to replace it with another type of customer service. I have a lease return soon so we'll see how it goes.

When I called for an appointment for routine service under ToyotaCare, they were able to get me a same day appointment. Tiffany, my service advisor, was friendly and courteous and she came to look for me in the waiting area when my vehicle was ready. She answered all my questions, reviewed the work that was done and offered to schedule my next service appt. They kept to their time estimate of 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete the service. The waiting area is large with plenty of comfortable seats, 2 tv's to watch and a snack bar with reasonable prices.

Axel kept in touch and waited for over a year, patiently, while i waited for a class action law suit to be finished so I could get my new vehicle. He had sold a car to my friend after her car was totaled from a hit and run. I promised i would come back to buy my car He knew what I wanted and never once tried to get me to settle on anything else. No pressure, real nice, I test drove numerous cars, before picking my favorite one. I love my car, and look forward to having it for a long time!!!

I found Toyota AutoNation an honest upfront dealership. My salesman, Joshua Yoo, told me what they had in stock, what he could and could not get. There was no bait and switch. I really appreciated his honesty.
After I made my selection all the details of the car were explained. The whole process went smoothly and I love my RAV4
