I was hesitant to leave a review, but I feel that anyone that's interested in Bob's services should be informed.

I contacted Bob in December of 2015 to inquire about an exterior paint correction and protection for my Audi S6. That same day, he replied with additional information and invited me to stop by for a quote. I visited his shop a few days later, had a great conversation, and I could tell that he was really passionate about his craft. I was excited! I followed up shortly after on next steps. Bob deals with the paint correction and he partners with someone named Evan from Pacific Auto Films in SoCal for the paint protection. During my visit, I also met Evan and he too was very eager to work on my car. He asked that I send him an email so he would follow up and coordinate with Bob on a date for the appointment.

A little OVER A WEEK passed before I heard back from Evan. We eventually sorted out the options and agreed on a price. I updated Bob so he could coordinate on a date. THREE WEEKS passed before Bob confirmed on a date. Longer than I expected, but we all have busy schedules, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Coming from SF, I wanted to coordinate the time of the drop off so I could plan my trip back home. He gave me a time and date, but the date was different than the original date he provided. I asked if he could clarify and his response was that it was for my convenience and I could choose the best date/time that worked for my schedule. He later explained that Evan would start on his portion on the original date he provided, but he would need to start his portion a few days before. Some MISCOMMUNICATION on his part, but not a big deal.

On the day of the drop off, I completely forgot that I needed to purchase touch up paint from the dealer. I contacted Bob, assuming he could pick it up from the dealer. Unfortunately, Audi requires that an order be placed for all touch up paint and so we had to reschedule the appointment. I was unaware of this, so ultimately my fault.

EIGHT days go by before Bob got back to me on a revised date. Unfortunately, I was caught up with work and was traveling at the time, so I couldn't reply back until a few days later. At which point, he replied with, "We are going to pass on the job, wish you the best for the Audi." Shocked by his reply, I inquired why. At which point he sent the following text:

"I am SO GLAD we are not doing this guys car now!! Woman scorned........... I knew he would not let it go had to get the last word. Will not respond to this stuff....... Wow"

Assuming this was meant for Evan, I was shocked to say the least. Realizing he had accidentally messaged me, instead of Evan, he sent the following:

"Alan a little review, I spoke to you Months ago when you came to my shop.

You waited a longtime to book and when you did we were booked out far.

Then we had to scramble to get someone in as Evan comes all the way from So Cal to do work up here. You told me you already had the touch up paint which was not true........ and I offered to take care of this remember.

We did our part this is not in dispute."

I've been nothing but professional, understanding of the multiple delays on his end, and yet I'm being treated as if I was being difficult, unreasonable, and unresponsive. In aggregate, there was OVER A MONTH of waiting on his end. His correspondences were extremely unprofessional and unacceptable for a business owner that supposedly prides himself on quality and professionalism.

This is very disappointing and I highly recommend that you think twice before doing business with him.

Very likely the best at what he does.

He is a paint correction specialist who understands paint and employs a care and attention to detail that probably borders on obsessive compulsive disorder.

Cares more about the car being done right than adhering to some schedule of time as dictated by his price quote for the job.

Takes the time to explain his strategy for correction, the materials and products he uses, and how you can preserve the results he gives to you.

He really loves what he does and it shows.

I am a "car guy" and very fastidious about my cars and I can tell you that Bob basically restored the finish of my black Range Rover Supercharged to better than brand new. He corrected a smorgasbord of swirls and holograms in its clear coat to a result that most closely resembles deep wet paint. Additionally, he spent nearly 3x the amount of time originally contracted for (while honoring his original quote) to clean up hard water etchings on the glass and trim that neither he or I had noticed during the original consultation, as well as perform other detail work, some of which no one will ever see, because he insisted on it being done right.

If you insist on the best detail result that I've found, here it is.

Bob is truly an artist at what he does. As everyone has stated, he is NOT a detailer, but a paint correction specialist in the true sense of the word.

Brought my 2011 Alpine White M3 for some attention, and the result was better then the day I picked it up from the dealership. He is not cheap, but in fact is a great value when you consider the end result of his work.

If you have a high end car that you want to have stand out with an unusual level of shine and luster, Bob is your man. As amazing as the end result is what may be best of all is the fact that he is an honest business owner that takes great pride in his work. Could not recommend him more highly.

I'm about as picky as they come where the finish of my car is concerned, so it's surprising even to me that I have nothing to nitpick about the work that Bob Willis recently did on my black Porsche Cayman R. Bob did an absolutely incredible job correcting the paint finish prior to the install of paint protection film. My jaw literally dropped when I saw photos of my car on Instagram and the awe continued when I saw the completed car in person.

Not only does Bob do amazing work but he is also the consummate professional and kept to his word on everything including the initial estimate, scheduling and the projected completion date of the work.

I've already referred several friends to Bob and I'll be taking other cars there in the future. I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else.

Bob is truly an epic craftsman that takes his profession extremely seriously. I was fortunate enough to book an open spot with Bob for my GT3, and once completed, the car's paint was better than new.

It is important for people to understand that this is not just a car cleaning and detailing service, but a paint restoration shop. Bob will review your vehicle and clearly articulate the detailing needs your car has. You do not have any options, but rather, can take or leave his recommendation. For my particular vehicle, Bob restored the interior, the engine bay, the undercarriage, glass and body paint, amounting to 26+ hours of work.

He is a consummate professional and will often work beyond the quoted price/hours to ensure that the car is truly perfect. His pricing is extremely reasonable, considering the level of service and quality provided. One thing to be plan on, is booking well in advance, as Bob's schedule is often booked 6+ months in advance.

Bob is a great guy, with a rare and wonderful skill set. Highly recommended!

Auto concierge (Bob) is one of those rare companies you find in life where you know you'll be a customer for life. I've had fairly nice cars for quite a long time, but have always had trouble finding the right place for a quality paint correction / detail. I personally know it takes years of experience and knowledge to treat car paint in the right way. Each manufacturer has its own quirks, different types of paint, and different issues right off the assembly line.

I found out about Bob because I started following Sharkwerks on instagram. They have all of their famous cars done at Bob's shop. So I started following Bob on instagram and I was blown away by the work he does on a regular basis. He doesn't only just do one of a kind exotics he can also make any car look like a work of art. Bob's personal car a Fiesta ST has paint that will knock your socks off.

I took my GT4 as soon as possible after purchase. Bob was booked about a month out because he's well-known in the high-end car enthusiast community. He did manage to get my car in earlier than estimated.

He also has partnered with Evan from pacific auto films. Bob did paint correction on my '16 Cayman GT4, then Evan did the "Race kit" clear bra. After that Bob did the final step with wax and sealant. The car looked literally better than it did from the factory. In fact it looked so good that I was reluctant to drive the car after the rain since I didn't want to ruin the awesome finish he gave to my car.

Bob is a rare breed. He takes pride in his work, follows through on promises. You won't be disappointed. Worth every penny. I will use him for future paint correction and detail, and keep recommending him to everyone needing some help on their car's paint. Don't settle with those sub-par vendors with the cheap Groupon. If you're really serious about your car looking its best look no further.

The best in the business. If you have a high end / exotic car in California, Bob will give it a new life that you didn't think was possible. Even if the car is just days old from the dealer, he can make it look much better.

He spends as much time as it takes to bring the car to a concours level shine and cars he works on often win these events. This is not simply a wash and shine. I've seen him spend 40 hours on a 10-year old Porsche and the car went from a 4/10 to a 10/10.

You might find someone that will detail your car in less time for less money, but there is no way they would do a better job. Bob is the best.

He's worked with Porches, Lambos, Ferraris, Astons and almost any exotic you can think of. Just google his name and see his work. It's amazing.

He provides a pictorial step-by-step update about the process and really cares about his craft. However, getting the best comes with a pricetag of about $75 per hour and most cars need about 30 hours to get rid of those swirls and mars. But it's worth it. The hours of joy from staring at that amazing shine on your car will be worth it.

If you're looking for a top notch detailer, look no further as he is by far the go-to-man for all of California. However, don't try to get an appointment anytime from July through August - it's Concourse time and he's usually booked 3 months back.

Bob is not a car detailer. He is a paint correction guru. I made the obvious error of buying a black M3, and discovered how soft like butter is the BMW paint recipe. You just breathe on this car, and swirls appear.

Bob is able to take this car and get it as close to ex factory as theoretically possible. I don't know if his hourly rate is competitive or not. I just know that his hour of work is one replete with knowledge and technique. He has materials, tools and techniques that others don't take the time or energy to develop.

His knowledge on cars in general is encyclopedic. I feel like very few businesses deserve a 5 star, but Bob's results make a 5 star rating very easy to give. If you have an exotic or high end sports car, Bob is the only choice on the west coast I suspect.

The best paint correction specialist in the area bar none. The level of work done by Bob is amazing and he can turn a really rough looking, swirled, scratched-up exotic into better than factory condition. A lot of my friends and clients use him.
