My experience at Austin Weston has been nothing short of amazing! Beginning with Heather, the Patient Consultant, who guided me through the initial consultation, to meeting Dr. Kochuba who skillfully performed my procedures, and to the attentive anesthesiologist and nurses who cared for me throughout the entire process - from pre to post-op. I underwent scar revision on my stomach first followed by a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a breast reduction three months later. Dr. Kochuba provided thorough explanations, recommendations, and set realistic expectations for the procedures. His compassionate bedside manner made me feel at ease, and the results speak for themselves - truly impeccable.

Dr Kochuba did my labiaplasty, and Wilma Hendricks was who did my consult. Results and experience were both perfect. This was my first surgery ever, and am more than happy with the results, especially since i've seen many botched surgeries while I was researching if I wanted to undergo this procedure. Absolutely 11/10 recommend Dr Kochuba for a labiaplasty. It was also one of the more reasonably priced ones in the DMV, and ATL, GA area.

I have been seeing Shima Karimi at Austin-Weston for all of my skincare needs and she is absolutely fantastic. She is an absolute master in her craft and ensures that each one of my appointments is an opportunity to educate me on how best to care for my skin and the options available. I've been seeing her for BBL and recently received a HALO laser treatment (which she recommended). I have had first hand experience with Dr. Poindexter, I met him about 13 years ago when I needed a revision breast implant surgery. It is difficult to find a doctor that wants to come clean up somebody else's mess. But he took on the challenge and the result was better than I hoped for.
Several years later he did my nose, under eyes, cheeks and neck ( these were not all done at the same time and all had better than expected post treatment results) .
After one of those surgeries I had complications. The risks were explained to me prior to surgery and I was fully aware of any potential risks and side effects and still elected to go forward,
Most times when things go wrong you read a negative review and the patient blames the doctor or the team afterwards for the way the situation was handled. Not the case here.
I developed a hematoma either during or after surgery a nose job, the next morning at my post op when my bandages were removed the nurse noted that I had developed swelling and bleeding behind the skin ( hematoma) and the doctor came in and they very quickly assessed me and came up with a plan that had me on the operating table within an hour or two with temporary drains placed in to relive the pressure and allow the blood to drain. This did not affect my surgical results or recovery time and this happened as a result of the way my body responded to the surgery and not as a result of the surgeon himself.
Nobody really wants to talk about what happens when something goes wrong, in the stack of consent forms it tells you anything that could happen including death and infection, it is a very real possibility and most of us still sign and pay and accept the possibility and almost always everything is fine. I have heard horror stories of people that were completely on their own or in an emergency room with strangers, none of that here, just an overly competent team of doctors, nurses and anesthesiologist giving EXCELLENT cosmetic and non cosmetic surgery.
The way the team pulled together during the not so pretty times of surgeries that make you pretty just really created such a feeling of complete trust in their ability to keep me safe and really follow through with such amazing post op care. The after hours team was always available and the post op nurses on phone duty quickly responded to questions and concerns. Thank you Dr. Poindexter

Shima, gives amazing treatments. There is discomfort with some of these treatments, lasers can sting, again you have to have a realistic expectation. What's nice about passing the time during a slightly uncomfortable treatment is the personality of the provider, the temperature of the room, the dim lighting, the spa music, it's a whole vibe to make you as comfortable as possible.
Shima, is well educated on current industry technology and application.
She is able to give a realistic expectation on level of discomfort of treatments, downtime, cost, and long term skincare goals and appropriate skincare products for my skin type. There have been times when she was booked solid for weeks but was able to accommodate me because I had an event or something going on in my life.
Shima, is the go to for the tri state area for skincare, rock star!! Thank you for all you do for me.
Sarah, is a newer relationship but so far can say nothing but great things, my Dysport is always on point, forehead frozen and pouty lips just the way I like it, Thank you Sarah!!
I can't thank you all enough, this whole team, for over a decade of great service. Great experience and I got natural results on my breast augmentation surgery. Dr. Kochuba was very professional and did a great job.

Recently I returned to the Austin Weston center for a Mommy makeover. Dr Weston had performed a rhinoplasty on me back in 1993 and I knew he was the person I needed to help me feel more like myself.
I was warned by friends that a tummy tuck was a major procedure and I'd have a lot of pain. But I've got to tell you, I never had to take anything stronger than Tylenol or Ibuprofen along with gabapentin.
He and his staff were phenomenal and I had no complications as i thoroughly followed the post op instructions. I'm extremely pleased with the results.
So yes you'll have a scar, but it's completely hidden by your undies. And it's completely worth it. I highly recommend Dr Weston and the staff at the Austin Weston center!

My journey started with Wilma, who was attentive to what I was looking to achieve, helped to customize a plan for me, and really felt like a true friend as she recalled personal details I shared with her every time we met. When I met Dr. Weston at my first consult my immediate impression of him was he's a kind individual who is honest and wants to provide the best results he can. We worked together as a team to make a plan and I felt comfortable every step of the way. We decided on an extended tummy tuck, liposuction to the upper back and flanks, breast lift, and silicon implants. I was never pushed or urged in any direction and was provided all the options so we could make the best choice together. The team made me feel comfortable the day of surgery (I was very nervous as I'd never had surgery before) and were extremely attentive with all my needs and concerns. Dr. Kochuba assisted with my post operative care. His gentle demeanor and transparency with all the questions I had helped affirm my healing was going just fine and I was doing incredibly well.

I highly recommend the team at Austin-Weston Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Reston, VA for any cosmetic procedures. I had done 5 or 6 other consults before coming to this center. None of them compared in regards to the level of trust and expetise, attention to detail, and genuine care I received from the whole team from consult to final result assessment. Should I need any future services, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else but here.
