Originally built as a 1930s mechanics garage, the Atlas Theater was transformed in 2008 into one of Northern Colorado's largest art galleries and event venues. With its whitewashed brick walls, chandeliers, and high-beamed ceilings, the Atlas is one of Greeley's most original and lovely locations. We host all kinds of events and frequently partner with John Galt Coffee in front and the rustic church across the street for weddings and funerals. We specialize in events for groups up to 300. Our Great Room holds up to 200 guests with tables and can be expanded to seat another 90 comfortably with the gallery in front.

Felt so uninviting, I think the employees thought I was judging them or something. Kinda felt like I was in a mean girl movie. The girl with short curly hair really didn't like me...

We had our wedding cermony, and then reception at Atlas Theater. My first impression upon pulling up was.."no babe this is not the place." After some "come on lets just check it out" we walked through to a beautiful space behind the coffee shop. We both got goose bumps and knew it was the place. NOT EVEN the best part...then we met with Adam Hayes and his lovely assistant Katie and from the 1st minute we were scooped up and taken care of with everything. If you are looking for a venue for ANYTHING !! Adam and his team at Atlas is 1000 percent the way to go !! THANK YOU SO MUCH

Came here for a garage band style small classical music get together...
Cool space in the back of the coffee shop, long but not too narrow and plenty of chairs for seating. Space was a bit echo-y and the train could be heard but still a cool concert with restrooms and a coffee shop added.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sandra C.Longmont, CO0425Nov 12, 2018
My daughter and fiance chose Atlas Theater for their wedding venue based on price, size and hipness of the building, and the fact that Adam came with the package as a wedding coordinator. At the time, we did not know how much we would need a coordinator. I am writing as the mother of the bride, and as the pocketbook and the planner with my daughter.
First, the space accommodated our guest list of 115 very easily. We rented both the main building and the galley. We set up the food in the galley, and the galley also gave us an extra staging area. We were looking for a place where the wedding and reception could take place in one room and we were able to do that without much reset between the ceremony and the reception. The quoted price was much less than any other venues we looked at, and we feel that we got much more than we expected. We were able to host a beautiful and fun wedding on a budget by providing our own decor, as well as providing a combination of our own smoked meats plus quality King Sooper deli side dishes and breads. We hired a two women team to manage the buffet table and that worked wonderfully. We also saved by buying our own beer, wine, and cider and hiring Atlas staff, Courtney, as a trusted bartender who has the skills to manage consumption. Atlas Theater has ample parking and is easy to find.
Not only was the venue fantastic, but Adam and the rest of of the staff were fantastic. Each of them were responsive to our specific needs, and during the event, they had a can-do attitude no matter what challenge was thrown at them. We worked with Adam as our coordinator and I cannot say enough to express how invaluable he was to us. He listened to us and offered options to meet our wishes. He was also very clear about what worked well in his experience, and what did not work well. He offered advice and tips, and brought up details that we might not have thought of. And every time, we had the final say with his full support. Adam is positive, organized, sensitive, responsive, and flexible. We also greatly appreciated his friendly and firm voice used to control the pace of the wedding. He made all the announcements and handled the music playlist that my daughter created. He made our guests comfortable and welcome.
If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, anniversary, quinceanera, or any other event, call Adam and see what they can do for you.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clayton S.Vernal, UT0107Oct 9, 2019
I enjoyed the atmosphere of Atlas Theatre for the wedding reception of my good friend. I did find it strange that they carded everyone, including men and women well into their 60s-70s. Must be a thing in Colorado.
The MC was outgoing and kept a good grasp on the events. They kept us entertained and flowing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle B.Sammamish, WA2731Dec 8, 2018
We hosted my daughter's graduation party at the Atlas. The venue itself was very tastefully decorated and Adam and his wife were a huge help and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

I have seen some great live shows here. Great warehousey feel for some much appreciated live music in Greeley! Shows put on by The Crew Presents at the Atlas and A.F. Ray's are the best live music coming through town.
P.S. - No beer, so I hit up Roma's before I go to the show.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Athena S.San Francisco, CA02Jan 13, 2018
We had our wedding here and it was perfect! The space (in its regular state) is already beautiful with the wood decorations and hanging lights. We only had to add a few other decorations to make it our own. Adam, the event coordinator, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He is very knowledgeable and familiar with the surrounding area which allowed him to help me in finding a caterer. Further, he helped with set-up, take-down, and ran all of the small details during the wedding better than I could have imagined. I was more than happy with my experience here and would definitely recommend this space to a friend for any event!
