Atlantic Offshore Fishery

AOF is my family's favorite restaurant. All of the seafood is as fresh as it can be since it comes right off their boats. Their sushi is amazing from their presentation to your mouth! What is great about this local Point Pleasant quaint restaurant is that you can BYOB. I love when you sit down they give you their homemade tuna with dill and salmon dip which is to die for. The employees at AOF are always friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to eat.

Last night we started off with their delicious tuna nachos, Mummy roll (our favorite), Rainbow roll, Lobster roll and OMG roll (another favorite), and edamame. For entrees we had lobster, scallops and shrimp scampi which was full of flavor and seafood. We can't wait to come back for another great meal! Thank you Sarapochillo Family!

A recently went here with my family. We ordered the fried calamari....delicious. My mom even said they were crispy but tender. We all decided to get the hot lobster rolls. Also, very good. I had mine with the Caesar salad. Service was excellent and prompt. Overall, the atmosphere was comfortable and nice. For fresh seafood to take home, check out their market.

If you are looking for some great seafood in a very casual setting, this is your spot. Located right off the fishing docks in Point Pleasant, this restaurant/seafood market has some of the freshest fish you will find. We stopped in here on an early Sunday afternoon in the winter and there was still a decent amount of people here, always a good sign. When we sat down we were pleasantly surprised by two, complimentary appetizers, a Shrimp Salad and a Tuna Salad served with chips which were delicious. Since this was just lunch, we ordered some lighter fare to share. We started with a half dozen Cape May Oysters, one of our favorites that just happened to be on the specials menu. These were very fresh and very delicious. I then went with a Lobster Bisque and my wife went with the New England Clam Chowder. Both were excellent. My bisque was loaded with fresh chunks of lobster and the chowder was equally as hearty. My wife and I then split a wonderful Fried Clam Strip Po' Boy with Fries and Cole Slaw which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to stopping here again next time we have a hankering for some great seafood.

As always, the freshest seafood in an unpretentious environment. Fair prices and very friendly staff.

This was a short 10 minute walk from the point pleasant boardwalk. I'm glad we took the walk because the meal was excellent. There was outside seating in the tented area. The inside looked really nice too.

For starters, we shared the fried clam bellies. So good! Fresh and fried to perfection. The dipping sauce was even great. For entrees, I got the tuna poke bowl and my wife got the oyster po boy. The poke bowl had all the right toppings to make it a perfect poke bowl. You won't find a better oyster poboy anywhere else. They have a few options for kids, but they were able to accommodate us in grilling mahi for our toddler.

Service was great. You won't find better seafood in Point Pleasant.

From the moment we were greeted by the hostess this dinner was delicious.

Quinn, our waitress, was fantastic. The fresh tuna salad and salmon with dill were great. I do not normally like salmon and I thought it was delicious.

We went with the Rock Shrimp on Quinn's recommendation and it was delicious. I would order it again in a heartbeat. The lobster roll is probably the best I've ever had. The lobster was perfectly poached in butter and it melted in your mouth. The fish on the fisherman's platter was fried to perfection. To quote my husband, "if I eat any more, you're going to have to roll me out of here."

We will definitely be back.

Literally nothing better in the area. We always order takeout and love their lobster rolls (packed separated so the roll doesn't get soggy) and recently got hooked on their sushi. Staff is always super friendly. Also, incredible tuna pizza and tuna nachos!

When visiting the PP, Nj area we always dine someplace different to scale the different restaurants along the back waterway.

This Labor Day weekday, we decided to try this establishment and weren't disappointed in any one thing. All fresh and cooked to order as it is attached to a fish market!

A plate of chicken and tuna salad plated with pita chips was a great initial offering to quell any appetite. Nice and appreciated on this hot day off the beach.
Kitty was our server and helped explain menu items on the sushi side resulting in our ordering a Mummy Roll which was delicious.
The roll was fresh, plated and presented, offered many blended flavors in one food item.

The fresh mahi-mahi, grilled and placed in a roll with romaine and sliced tomato satisfied my hunger. Enjoyed every bite.

A plate of fried clam bellies/bodies with side. Think clam strips but fresh and meatier.

The crumb cheesecake was creamy awesomeness from local bakery.

Always an appreciative shout out to kitchen staff for their prep, presentation and creativity in serving fresh food.

The lobster roll was the highlight here with huge chunks of lobster and a buttery grilled sourdough bun. We also substituted our side of fries and salad with a Caesar salad which was nothing special. We also ordered the clam bellies which I've never had before but enjoyed that we could taste the chunks of clam in it.

However, I was disappointed with the soups. We ordered a cup of the lobster bisque which had zero pieces of lobster and instead had chunks of cornstarch that made it a lumpy consistency. The cup of New England clam chowder was a weird watery consistency but did have a lot of clams.

The service here is great though and our food came out fast! We were in and out of our lunch in 30 minutes which was perfect for our weekday lunch.

Updating my review from a few months ago..... We went back this past weekend and can not be happier with EVERYTHING. Food was terrific, service was great (Kitty was wonderful). Really - this time we got the sample crab/tuna spread (last time didnt), our food was hot, perfectly cooked. Really cant say enough how happy we are that our favorite seafood restaurant is doing great !!!
