Doctor Kadambi will only see you for your first visit, then you get the nurse practitioner. That very nurse practitioner messed up my meds horribly last year. She called and cut back the incorrect meds. My levels are completely crazy and doctor won't see existing patients. Don't go there! All they want is money money money!!!
I have been going to Dr kadambi for years and I have been cancelled soooo many times. Find someone else, he doesn't really care.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Judy R.Huntington, IN01Apr 8, 2021
I have been seeing Dr. Kadambi now since approximately 2008.
I have to say he is amazing! He seams very caring and truly concerned for his patients. He absolutely saved my life. I was literally dying and did not know it. He diagnosed me with Addison's disease. I had seen many Drs and not one of the them caught this. Instead I was made to feel I was a hypochondriac and was not treated very well.
I am very grateful to Dr. Kadambi because without treatment you will die from Addison's and no other Dr. wanted to take my symptoms seriously.
This just shows what a professional Endocrinologist he really is. He is absolutely one of the very best in his field.
He does prescribe some compounded medicines but this because he does truly care and wants his patients to have the best care with the least harm.
We all know the pharmaceutical companies make their meds from chemicals In the lab and Dr. Kadambi does his best to treat his patients with the most natural of medicines that he can safely.
Thank you Dr. Kadambi for caring.

Unethical practices, stay away! The staff told me they took my insurance at the time of my appointment then sent me a bill for over $1,400 and claimed they told me that they were not in network. I would never have gone to the appointment had I known they were out of network. They're just out to make money any way they can. Little to know attention to patient care.

We're sorry to hear your experience with Fort Wayne Endocrinology left you dissatisfied. We make every attempt to educate patients on their insurance and whether it is "in network" or "out of network." For those who are not covered, we offer a 30% cash discount on office visits and a 50% cash discount on labs at time of service. We also offer a 30% "out of network" discount if the balance is paid within 15 days, and a 15% discount on any remaining balance after insurance is paid within 30 days following your visit. And, payment plans are available.
As you can see, we are very sensitive to the cost of specialized treatment and strive to provide excellent care and service to all our patients without regard to payment arrangements. - Corey T.Fort Wayne, IN011Jul 24, 2018
I have to agree with Nick Z. I was told upfront that they do not take my insurance, but that I would be able to get my bloodwork done at Lutheran or Parkview. When I called to confirm my appointment, I was told that I am "required to get bloodwork done at their office and that it will cost upwards towards $1200 on the low end." Yet, my blood results are recent and within 30 days. I understand that a physician might want to repeat some test... I GET IT... but I was told that "if the results were not done in his lab, that they did not count and he would not want to see them." Then the nurse proceeded to get snippy with me when I told her I did not feel comfortable with a physician who is not even willing to look at the results I already have done. I was told that "Dr. Kadambi is the best and if I want the best care then you need to pay for it. Also, we have a new person who isn't really familiar with our office yet." I believe that Dr. Kadambi most likely is a competent and excellent doctor. I wanted over a month to see him and I am told two days before my appointment that the information I was given is incorrect. I ask Dr. Kadambi to get better and more competent nurses that know what your policies are. Do yourself a favor and choose to go to a different physician who cares about the patient, the standard of care, and not about the amount of money they can make in a day.
