This hospital ER does not deserve a star. My 76 year old mother was transported her from Seton Southwest to have surgery performed. The staff at Seton SW stated Dell was aware. Upon arrival to Dell the staff is not on board. They know nothing. Completely unprofessional. The arm is broken and even though surgery was recommended, she is put in a splint and sent home. It is a mad house! Filthy dirty! Sitting in this ER, you are sure to leave sick. Staff spends too much time in the nurses station gossiping, laughing, and simply wasting time. I will never come here or bring my family back.

Been in here once at the ER and a second time for a procedure. I was treated very well by everyone, our ER doctor was kind, knowledgeable and our bill was half of what we have paid at  those urgent care places. Second time in for a procedure same experience everyone was kind , took the time to explain everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you

    Cons : parking, outdated facilities.
Pros: location, quick checkin, prices & amazing staff

Parking is right across the street. The nurses are great and very thorough. The doctors keep you updated. There is a cafeteria and a Starbucks, all on the 1st floor.

I came in for a surgical procedure and tbh, as I read the reviews the night before, I was pretty concerned about what I was going to be walking into. But seriously, from checking in to the moment I got in my car, it was five star service. My nurses, Araceli and the awesome fellow Puerto Rican nurse who's name I sadly didn't catch were amazing! They had me laughing through all the pre-op steps! They were kind, friendly, down to earth and just absolutely excellent! The surgical team was clear, communicative, skilled, warm, and so very thoughtful. My nurse Kat who was my last nurse before I left was equally as fabulous! She made me laugh, kept me comfortable while in recovery and wheeled me out to my car as we cracked jokes...it truly was a beginning to end wonderful experience. I know there are some pretty terrible reviews on here and I'm so very sorry for the negative experiences others have had...I just want to also say that my experience was truly great and I thought folks would like to know that there are good stories coming out of that hospital too.

Avoid this hospital if you can. My husband went in for chest pain and they just ran him through like cattle. he had to go to a different emergency room and they immediately took an x-ray and found a collapsed lung. They said he could have died within the next couple of days if he didn't get help. Thank goodness we went somewhere else. The staff at this hospital ER need a major revamp. They're rude and have absolutely no idea what they are doing.

Ok so story time. Lime scooters are dangerous. Straight up. I will one day ride them again with a much more cautious nature, but them shits is dangerous.

I came here after getting in a scooter accident and breaking my clavicle. Everyone here was super nice and helped me get the attention I needed. Specifically my nurses Hayden and Angie were super helpful and reassuring to me that I was going to be ok. Also, morphine did it's job too lol.

My doctor really went to bat for me when the head doctor was trying to do surgery on some other people before me, taking pictures of my injury to try to make a case for me to go first since I needed to go to home to Chicago in a few days, and couldn't get on a plane with a bone sticking out of my shoulder.

I think my only complaint, and I'm not sure this is valid because I came in on a holiday weekend, was that it took foreverrrrrrrr. But that's healthcare am I right?

U literally have to be bleeding or have a heart or breathing condition you will sit in the waiting room for hours 6-10 hours while u see doctors and nurses eat joke. At 7 am I had 4 people in front of me at 10am there are still 4people in front. They literally joke and sit around instead of seeing patients.

If I could give zero stars, I would. PARENTS BEWARE.
I am beyond disgusted in the way my daughter was treated at Dell Seton this weekend. I am shocked that a dr automatically assumed a patient is drunk or has drugs in their system without conducting a breathalyzer/drug test, at the very least. It's unfortunate, but she strongly believes it is because she's biracial and I honestly can't say she's completely wrong.

Clearly my daughter was distraught (PTSD level) when she arrived at the ER. To assume she would receive adequate and fair treatment was clearly a mistake on our part. To think, I had her taken to your ER so she would be safe and get the proper treatment for her absence seizure episode?  Completely unbelievable that not a single dr/nurse there believed her when she told them she was having an absence seizure (couple that with PTSD).  And, to make it even worse, telling HER that she's lying about having seizures when she's had them her entire life? What kind of dr's are you?

She had to suffer, in the hallway, alone, with people yelling at her when she had NO idea what was going on because...you guessed it, she was having an absence seizure. Had your ridiculous hospital policy of not allowing "visitors", (aka, her mother, who has her entire medical history memorized) not been in place, we could have avoided 3+hrs of even further traumatization to this young adult.  As a dr, do you think surrounding a CLEARLY scared, terrified, traumatized patient with 6 police officers, threatening to handcuff/arrest her was the right approach?  I don't have a medical degree of any sort, but common sense would tell me there is a deeper rooted issue rather than assuming she's drunk/drugged and treating her like a criminal?

Since none of the dr's or nurses in the ER know what an absence seizure is, let me help you out:  epilepsy.com/what-is-epi…

You should also brush up on your PTSD awareness because clearly you missed that too!

Shame on you. YOUR ENTIRE EMERGENCY ROOM DEPARTMENT FAILED THIS YOUNG ADULT.

Exactly rude staff in the lobby I was walking to the elevator with my daughter and the desk clerk by the coffee shop shouted across the lobby for me to fix my mask even though she wasn't wearing one!! as I was taking a drink of water extremely embarrassing it's hard enough to be in a hospital and my anxiety was so high I wanted to cry they shouldn't be allowed to shout across the entire lobby put all eyes on me

Do not take your loved one to this hospital or yourself ! The staff is extremely rude not only that I brought my son there in a mental state, he had no idea what year it was kept telling me he was going to die etc it was horrible . They asked me to wait in waiting area no update until they told me he was being medically discharged and they took him to jail ! He is now in a jail cell and has no idea what is going on , I still haven't heard from him and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for my son !!!! They took him to jail because he got violent , yes he should not have by all means but I know he was not in his right mind, he was out of his mind ! I asked to speak to the doctor they continued to say they would give me an update and never did , when I found out he was taken to jail I demanded to speak to someone , they told me I could leave or be arrested !
Mental Health is so over looked and they treat people like they are not worth dealing with .  I told him on the way there they were going to help him and they did nothing for him , just took him and locked him up in a cage and he would have never done that if he was mentally ok , I don't know what is wrong with him , still no answers . If I could give them zero stars I would but I can't submit this without giving at least one . they don't deserve that .
