Artisan Systems

We recently built a new home & knowing that the builders surround sound options are limited, I decided to research home theater companies in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. I either spoke to or visited five different companies & after extensive conversations & research, I decided on Artisan Systems.

From the very first conversation with Brad C, I knew I made the right choice. He was knowledgeable, patient & even though he could have easily upsold me on products I didn't need, he found me the best system to fit both our home & budget. After ordering the products, I received a call from Tony saying that the order had been placed & we scheduled the installation. He then proceeded to call me the day before to confirm the installation. My wife & I were pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service both Brad & Tony provided. John was our installer & he continued the great service. He was friendly, meticulous & did a great job with our installation. He even asked if there was anything else we needed him to explain about our new system before he left.

We love our new system! Needless to say, if you are in need of home theater/surround sound products & services, look no further than the team at Artisan Systems.

My experience with this company is as a job candidate.
I interviewed for a sales position, they strung me along with almost no communication, not answering emails or texts for 2 months.

But supposedly I was one of two finalists.
My interviews went great, and we all seemed to feel good about each other.
But they continued to ghost me.

Finally, they offered me the job. By the following Monday I had a formal job offer. Although I was beginning to have doubts, I accepted the offer and attended a session of Sandler sales training on a Wednesday before my agreed upon first day the following Monday.

On Friday I got a text saying "we need to speak immediately about your first day".

So from the golf course I called in and they promptly told me they were rescinding my offer.

After much prodding, they finally gave me an answer:
When I attended the sales training, they didn't like the way I was dressed. As if I had on blue jeans and a tank top. Fact is, I wore freshly cleaned khaki pants and a blue button down shirt. I looked fine. This was BS.

The two senior managers in this company who'd interviewed me twice were not exactly GQ. Rumpled clothes, scraggly beards. They lookedlike they belonged in an AZ DOT cleanup crew.

I have no idea what the real reason is.
My background check and drug screen were clean.

My experience with Artisan was a window into how this company is run. Disorganized, unable to make a simple hiring decision, dishonest.

I wouldn't hire them to put in a light bulb.

We have moved into a home in Scottsdale which has a Crestron system supplied by Artisan Systems. The previous owner & I called this business to make handover introductions. Left a message - call not returned. Since then I have made four (4) additional calls to this business and on each occasion the call has rolled to an answering machine. None of these calls has been returned. Messages were left for a man called Andrew whose interpersonal skills are not obvious.
