    • Q:

If the game starts at noon, when is the best time to get there in order to have time to park and tailgate?

      A:

Ideally you need to be at the gates no later than 9:30 or you'll miss out on tailgating due to the time it takes to get parked and set up. If you have a large group and/or need to drop a tent or set up complex food/tailgating items, I'd say no later… more

Any advice in getting a ticket the day of the game. Can you just go to the ticket window to get a ticket the day of the game?

      A:

For the day of tickets, Your best bet would be to check ticket master or stub hub & you will get an electronic ticket on your phone as soon as the purchase is made.

My husband and I were lucky enough to see the Chiefs at GEHA Field/Arrowhead Stadium. If you ever get the chance to see a game or show at Arrowhead, do it!

It definitely was NOT cheap to see an NFL game there, but it was a birthday/anniversary gift rolled into one. We went in December, because it was the game we wanted to see (against the Denver Broncos), but it was frigidly cold.

So if you go in winter, make sure to bundle up (or just go when it's not freezing). If you're in the nosebleeds, like we were, the wind will be whipping you something awful if it's windy - as you don't have the same coverage of the bowl that the lower seats have.

The production value at Arrowhead is insane, with the loudest sound system I've ever heard, and a gigantic Jumbotron screen that you can see from anywhere in the stands. You'll be watching the game below on the filed, but want to keep looking up at that screen LOL

The seats are actually pretty comfy, compared to the stadium seating I'm used to at college football games. But if you're at a Chiefs game or concert, you probably won't want to sit down too much!

The production value and the excitement of seeing a game/show live at such a huge venue - definitely go if you get the chance.

Who doesn't love Arrow-freaking-head Stadium?! I have always loved coming here for Chiefs games and the most recent Wild Card matchup with the Miami Dolphins was no different! The stadium is beautiful and in my opinion continuously gets updates, even if minor.

Parking is about the same as it always has been, with there being a few ways into the stadium but you're ultimately in a super long line with everyone else - obviously expected. It is nice, the employees at the booth can now scan your mobile parking pass without them needing to even open their window/door. Once you hit the gates, it is kind of follow the crowd on where to park. I think this process could be better but thankfully the fans pretty much know what to do without incident.

The stadium has numerous entrances, and the signage for sections is pretty decent. The updated concessions are much better than the old days but the extremely outrageous prices have only gotten more expensive. Some things are still prices fairly but for the most part, the upcharge is still too much for me to want to enjoy some of the offerings.

The men's restroom was actually one of the best places during the cold Miami game and was the closest place we could walk to in order to warm up.

The only real thing issue we had was when we were in the parking lot leaving the game. If you go from Lot D to Lot L, the only way to do this is walking from a set of stairs through a narrow tunnel - you can hop the fence and walk down a big hill but there are dozens of signs telling you not to do this. It took us 15 minutes to move from about 10ft away from the top of the steps to the top of the steps. There were so many people gathered here and it was so unorganized. For the most part, we just stood shoulder to shoulder and inched our way forward to the steps. Had there been an emergency or anything, this would have been extremely, extremely unsafe. I think this is something that could be fixed relatively easy in the off-season.

Overall, this is such an amazing stadium and it is so fun getting to come here for not just Chiefs games either. But if it ends up staying where it is, I do think they could improve some logistical pieces.

Warning!! They're worse than TSA. I forgot my Fiji bottle was in my backpack, when the security found it, I wanted to keep my bottle and dump out the water. As I was pouring out my water, I had a security guard rush up screaming "STOP, YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I informed them that I was hoping to keep my bottle. The security guard said, "NO, you can't." That was a bit of an embarrassment, because I was the only one they randomly pulled aside to screen. My other friends went through just fine, and I was the one with a clear plastic bag, they had grocery bags.

Came here for the Monday Night Football game, besides the security group, it was a great time. The Chiefs' fans brought some great energy! The stadium was easy to access. The restrooms were clean and there were plenty for access. We tailgated, so we didn't have any issues with entry.

Lastly, heads up....Lyft and Uber is picked up about half a mile away. It's uphill, and when we needed it, it was freezing.

Other than some of the negatives, the experience was great.

We did the stadium tour. I'm not a huge Chiefs fan, more of a Bears fan. More of my hubs thing. I enjoyed the tour though. The tour guides are very funny.

We spent a decent amount of walking time and touring. It's a good tour but there is steps so make sure to let your guide know you may need some accommodations.

Depending on the weather you may be able to go on the field. You may be able to see the locker room as long as they do t have a game to prep for. The field is white like the pictures when they have concerts/events on the field.

This is a must do experience!

Went for the chiefs vs bears game.

Showed up 3 hours early to tailgate which was Uber fun and everyone was very friendly.

Went in about an hour before kickoff and checked out the hall of fame and pro store.

I ended up getting a great seat in the 133 section which was awesome but on the sunny side of the field. So if you're looking to visit for a game try to figure out whic side is the sunny/Shady side bc it was so hot!

Game ended up being a blowout at the half and to miss the rush I caught an Uber. The Uber stand is at the meha welcome center but you should be prepared to wait at least 20 mins to get picked up.

Overall I would absolutely come back and this was the most fun of the 6-7 nfl stadiums I have been to.

      Seat on sunny side.

I arrived from out of state to attend the Chiefs vs. Lions game. Not being invested in either team it was fun to watch.

I eat gluten free, hunting it down was a challenge but made easier with the help from a customer service supervisor!. At victory burger on the club level they have gluten free buns and burgers! It took a long time because of kitchen issues not being totally prepared since it was the first game of the season. A burger, fries and souvenir club of lemonade was $32. ... bring your wallet!
If you don't have a ticket for club level you can get someone to walk you there so you can order, should you want a GF bun

Parking was $50 and prepaid. It was total chaos! Bring your patience.

Shopping was ok. Would have like to see more organization

The game ticket was so VERY expensive. $270 + Ticketmaster fees = $331 for seats 8 rows from the top

All in all, it was a good experience and nice place to visit at least once

We did a tour of Arrowhead during a weekend trip to KC. It was by far the highlight of our trip! Kids 8 and 11 loved seeing the stadium, field, locker room, etc. I would def recommend a tour if you're from out of town.

Arrowhead stadium, home of Kansas City Chiefs! Always fun time here, with the best and the loudest fans. It is always nice to see the stadium full of red on game day. Easy to get to. It did not take us long to get in and out of the stadium. Staffs always friendly and helpful.

In a nutshell, Arrowhead is a really great stadium, but the traffic to get in and out is just terrible! Last Saturday evening, my cousin and I went to the Ed Sheeran concert there. My husband dropped us off, cuz Lord knows I ain't paying $50 to park. It actually wasn't too bad coming into the concert for those of using the rideshare lot, but the situation in the regular lots was pure chaos!! It seemed there weren't enough workers directing traffic, so no one knew where to go.

I was kind of nervous because there was no QR code or barcode on our ticket, but apparently they're using AI to figure out if your ticket is real, and the scanning machine can somehow tell. We got right in - pretty cool!

We were in section 106, which was right in the sun as it was going down, so we moved over to a bunch of vacant seats in 120 and that worked really well. We just stayed there all night.

If you want drinks or anything, it's pretty dang expensive. $10 for a large water, holy bejeezus! It's water, Arrowhead people!!

The stage setup for the concert was awesome. Ed played 'in the round' with a circular state as you can see from the picture. So everyone had a good view. The big screen in the center was also great for watching the opening acts. Even though we were pretty low, it was still hard to see Ed, but the big screens were there so no problem.

We thought we would miss the opening acts, because our ticket showed 6 as the starting time, and we got there around 7. But Ed ended up taking the stage at 8:30 and so we got to see Khaled too.

Leaving the concert was an absolute madhouse. Roads blocked off, huge lines everywhere, backed up on the highway, etc. We ended up having to walk about a mile away where my husband was waiting in one of those huge lines to pick us up. So they really need to fix that.

But all in all, great concert at Arrowhead! We had a fabulous time!!

This place was packed when I went for the Billy Joel/Stevie Nicks concert! The stadium included 4 ramps so that cutback on all the stair which was greatly appreciated. I was able to take a stroll through the hall of fame section prior to the concert and wow was it cool to see all the trophies and read about all the history of the chiefs. I would definitely visit again whether it be for a game or another concert, great venue with great views.
