He discovered with an x-ray that I have a short leg and added the appropriate lift to the custom orthotics. I was skeptical that these were not going to help, since I have had custom orthotics made in the past, so I had many questions. Dr Dave is very knowledgeable and talked with me about all my concerns, without pressure and has a website loaded with info and videos on how they work, why and how to get your foot ready. These impressions were made a different way than I've had taken in the past. I'm really happy with my new orthotics it was so worth it!! I'm able to be on my feet longer without my side and hips aching me. Thanks Dr Dave! You're a rock star!

The quality of Orthotics that we both selected are amazing and was super happy that both the Dr and I choose the ones I needed most and not just a sales of any kind would do concept. I encourage anyone with any kind of foot leg or back pain , to stop in and see Dr David and listen to him and get started right away !

Jill P.Phoenix, AZ7052Jan 11, 2019Updated reviewIt's truly sad that anyone unable to deliver a product that works would call the police rather than refund the money or make the product right. Additionally violate the patients privacy by videotaping them. It's like going to the eye doctor and the doctor telling you to leave with glasses you can't see with because you aren't getting your money back. Then when you ask for them to refund or get it right they call the police. What a sad desperate plea. Clearly there was zero reason to call the police - for further information see the police case report as listed in my first comment. I was calm cool collected and didn't ask for anything any other customer would expect. Facts - I have no orthotics - I was told he didn't know why they don't work for me - I was told no money back to and to get out I'm calling police. His business name is not worth the value of his profit on one pair of orthotics. Beware - he is not an accredited business nor does he have his own office - he works out of the back room of someone else's office.

It is truly a sad day anyone is escorted from the office by police.
Businesses are expected to be transparent and that's exactly why our potential new patient intake form includes our policies & procedures - in writing.
We also provide everyone who purchases our custom foot orthotics with a handout encouraging a visit to our custom foot orthotic break-in portal (https://arizonaorthotics.com/break-in-portal/).
In this particular case, Jill shared her concerns during a 27-minute conversation after having 1st received her custom foot orthotics.
She explained how this concern prevented her attempting the break-in process.
Her concern was heard and we agreed to send the orthotics back to the lab to be completely remade - at no charge.
Upon arrival of the new pair, she tried them on and immediately stated they were no different.
As Dr. Doperak was attempting to explain how to now proceed based on this new information, she requested a refund.
Before standing up or offering any time for adaptation she began explaining how they just weren't working and again requested a refund.
At this time, we noted our no refund policy that she signed agreement to; a photocopy was also made for her.
Now demanding a refund and threatening bad on-line reviews, as well as a credit card dispute, and required "conversation with her husband," it was clear we were at an impasse.
Prior to her request for refund, the attempt was to explain that the next approach would be to artificially lower her arch simply because it is in fact so very high but also steep.
She then agreed to allow for the heat modification which takes approximately 5 minutes to perform - free of charge.
During this time an attempt was made to explain how the plastic would need to cool over the next couple hours naturally and to not artificially try and cool the plastic in a refrigerator or freezer.
Jill remained hyper-focused on a refund.
After a natural cooling of the orthotic plastic shell, she was instructed to again report back.
Instead, she refused to let them cool and kept saying "what's the difference?" as she put her shoes back on and walked around.
Despite attempts to explain "the difference", she simply refused to comply and then walked around further flattening her overall arch.
The difference is how the of the 26 bones per foot align.
A minor shift in alignment completely changes how these 26 bones that create 33 joints (per foot) actually function - huge difference.
At this time, it was clear we would have to agree to disagree and she was asked to leave the office.
She then stated she was not leaving the office until she received a refund.
After the heat modification was made and follow-up instructions provided, her office visit was officially over yet she repeatedly stated "I'm not leaving, I have an appointment."
It wasn't until Dr. Doperak literally explained more than 3 times that her office visit was in fact complete and she again refused to leave that the police were called for advice.
After a field investigation the patient was escorted from the premises and instructed not to return.
Again, sad day anyone is escorted from the office by the police.
There is truly a first for everything.

He was a fast talker and had me sign a document and told me that everything was guaranteed. I received the orthotics in the mail and they did not fit, my foot came out of the shoe because the heel/bottom of the orthotic is raised. I shared my concern via several calls and trips back to his office. He said he'd remake them and have them thinned out and made into a full length vs half length (which was an option). I returned to his office today & the orthotic was not made thinner and my foot still came out of the orthotic. He said he didn't know what to tell me, that this doesn't happen. In fact, according to both my Physical Therapist and also to a specialist at Sole Sports - this does happen and they see it all the time and people return the product and are refunded. Dave's manufacturer does not have a mold that can make a flat heel - which is what my body needs. I asked him to get the orthotic right or to please refund me my money. He said no refunds. I said your product is warrantied and guaranteed and I'd like either an orthotic that works with my foot or my money back. He said I don't know what to tell you - He repeated no refunds. Then I asked for him to get orthotic right. He pulled out a heater and heated the footbed and had me step in it to smoosh the arch. This still didn't get it right, even after it cooled. He said that he was leaving and it's his day off (this was less than 15 minutes into our appointment). I said I'm not leaving until I either get the product I paid for and was guaranteed or to please refund my money. He then left, returned and videotaped me asking him to refund my money or to get it right while he repeated telling me to leave the premises. He then said he was calling the police, I said that's just fine, I'd like their help. Phx Police arrived & I filed a case with them 2019-41706 -Naegeli #5044. It's documented that I do not have the product (he does) & I am not allowed as a customer. I did nothing wrong. I have no orthotic and am out $550
Tiffany B.Peoria, AZ01May 18, 2017All I can say is WOW! I had no idea I had a foot problem that was affecting my lower back until I met with Dr. Dave. I have a job that requires me to be on my feet all day however, I never really paid much attention to how it was affecting me until I started using my custom foot orthotics. Dr. Dave made them specially to fit my arch and proper alignment! After about a week of wearing them I began noticing how my lower back wasn't really causing me any discomfort. I notice a HUGE difference if I don't wear them and now I will never go without! Thanks to Dr. Dave's knowledge and professional expertise, I no longer have to suffer needless back pain that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, or even worse, lead to more serious issues later down the road. I would HIGHLY recommend Arizona Orthotics to anyone who is looking for REAL results that LAST!

I've been using orthotics for more than 40 years and I can say without a doubt these are the best orthotics I've ever had.
Many times I've asked "why are you taking an impression of my foot when I'm standing and my arch is flattened out?" I've been given various explanations including; that the purpose of orthotics is to stabilize the foot or that its because orthotics are made for use when I'm standing up.
I've always felt there had to be a better way, but never found it until now. I felt the difference the first day, the pains I've been having in my ankles, knees and hips have significantly improved. I will start with a little bit of background information about myself. I am a 28 year old female who was a former Division 1 college basketball player, now I am a personal trainer and doctoral student. My lifestyle is hands down VERY active! I have had flatfeet my entire life and upon having lost my last set of CUSTOM orthotics in the hustle and bustle of moving, being on my feet all day everyday was beginning to take a toll on me.
After doing some internet searching for a company to provide custom orthotics I stumbled upon Goodfeet. I went to check them out only to find that there was nothing "custom" about the ARCH SUPPORTS that they were trying to sell me. By the time the consultation had finished, I would have been walking out of there with a product. Can someone please tell me how they managed to "customize" it in the 10 minutes that I sat in a chair and put my feet on a mat? It was definitely like a glorified Dr. Scholl's get up...not to mention it was over $800 when it was all said and done.
I decided to provide that background information out of no disrespect to Goodfeet but as a means to explain the difference between the service I got with a name that people may recognize as opposed the true service I got for half the price.
As someone who is in the process of becoming a Doctor, I understand the value in having someone who is as knowledgable as he is. He knew everything about the foot, he explained the dynamics of the foot as it related to the rest of the body in a way that was not superficial. I definitely felt like I walked out of the office having learned a little more about my body and certain things ache the way that they do. He did a foot molding that showed me how my foot should hit the ground if I had an arch which actually produced the arch that my foot SHOULD have. It took about 2 weeks for me to get them, and he provided proper break-in protocol and stretches as I break them in.
I can go on for days about my experience but overall I am a person who loves to be informed and not taken advantage of; Dr. Dave did an amazing job! My feet definitely can tell they are working and I love it!
Keep this in mind when doing your internet search...not all that glitters is gold...

I walked Into this place struggling to walk. I've had plantar fasciitis for 6 months now and was starting to give up. NOTHING was working. Dr. Dave changed my life, literally. He got me in the next day and fit me for orthodics and I've been able to walk, work out, and stand all day as a hairstylist. GAME CHANGER! My entire body feels better . So glad I found him! Worth every penny.

I could not agree more. The fitting Took only a short time and they arrived in the mail very soon after. It took me 2 weeks to get used to them. I am a performance athlete use them in work out/day sneakers.
