Applebee's Grill + Bar

Spending the night at a nearby hotel and decided to get a bite to eat.
None of the employees appeared to be overly friendly or happy to be working at this restaurant. We were sat near another customer who appeared upset. Even though there was maybe three people eating in the restaurant, it took several minutes for our waitress to show up. After she took our order, I overheard the other customer tell the waitress, "I'm not paying for this".
We ordered some finger food and drinks. I'm 99% sure they poured the wrong brand of whiskey, but by that time I just wanted to leave.
With the amount of restaurants in the area, can't see going back to a restaurant with an uninviting ambiance.

Don't laugh; Came by as it was right next to my cool inn off the enthralling 94 St Augustine Valdosta causeway.
We've all heard the C D'Elia jokes :) and .. and .. was craving a Bloody Mary, .. it Y'd me. Honestly hit the spot.

Bartender was working double time keeping all the campers very happy, respect
Bev's were as expected, she made sure to ask questions and customize em per patron; & looked v tasty.
Few later night staff were cool, friendly;
No whackos at bar :)
My grub came out hot, not take long at all, impressive for AppleB. Have to admit I dig their fish n chips.

Beware, their hottest best hot sauce is and always will be Tabasco ; best to keep bottle o Marie Sharp's Habanero in briefcase when traveling.
Food was completely as expected, go fer their Shrimp Bowl or Chicken Caesar if lookin to b happy and out.

Short staffed due to bad management. Never got a refill fill, never seen our waiter but once. They explained they were short staffed but seen several waiters just standing around. Food was ok. Didn't get what I ordered but was just glad to get anything at that point. Never got the appetizers, never got my side dish, never got a refill.Cant blame everything on covid. Won't be back anytime soon. I.m no Karen but thos was the worse visit ever. Was March 7th or so.

I waited too long for my food, my food was nasty, they have roaches and my food was also cold!

Placed a to-go order at bar. Had prompt and friendly service. Bone-in wings were great!

Walked in and waited 25 mins to never even get acknowledged and walked out. Don't recommend

This place blows. Terrible management. Staff making drinks behind the bar, free pouring liquor for themselves, joking around being unprofessional, on the phone behind the bar, leaving the bar to go sit down and play on the phone. I worked for Applebees for a year a while ago and know their standards. This place would be shut down if they had a halfway decent area manager. waffle House is right across the street better off going there. Food is awful too. you can tell they upcook food so you'll never get anything cooked to order. Steaks come out 20 degrees over cooked 2 nights in a row. Also don't ring up bar drinks properly so you'll overpay on 2for1 drinks because they just charge you for each drink anyways. Honestly awful af I wouldn't go here if I was drunk and high and hadn't eaten in a week and nobody else was open.

There are a total of 4-5 customers in the restaraunt currently, and I've been waiting at the bar for 15+ minutes just to place a carry out order, all while the few servers that are here walk around and act like they didn't see me walk in. This makes no sense!

Slowest service I have ever received. Restaurant was nearly empty when we came in before 12pm. We waited over 45 mins for food and then another 45 mins to get a ticket and pay.

All customers that came in after me were well taken care of. The wait staff is operating on the "Woke" policy.

My Oder was never taken and I had to walk out. No need talking to the manager. The non accepted White Customers is very obvious.

I'll never visit here again
