This is a great club! Im from CHICO, California and go to the Anytime Fitness club there. Today I'm halfway through a trip to the Oregon Coast and decided to crush some iron. Because WHY NOT! If you're a member of one, you're a member of all of them. So far THIS YEAR I've visited clubs in Long Beach, Seal Beach, LA, California, Maui Hawaii and now Medford Oregon.

Excellent customer service. Most customers are adults and as a result, the place is clean and chill. The owner is honest and when our son was home on military leave he got him set to workout with ease. If you are a person who is committed to a workout and don't want the aloofness if Superior or the chaos of Planet Fitness, try Anytime.

After a long day of business travel (03:30 wake up call to catch a 6am flight, and customer meetings) all I wanted to do was go to my hotel and crash - but knew that would just make me even more tired the next day! So I got my gym clothes on and went in search for the hotel gym. Low and behold: no hotel gym! (That's a different Yelp review for a different time).
Typed in "gym" on the good ole iPhone and found Anytime fitness. I looked at the website and it seemed "members only" so I called and spoke to Ryan and he told me I could do a day pass.
He was super nice, just had to sign a quick waiver and then he gave me a tour of the facility. Small gym- but has everything you could need! Treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, free weights; etc. very clean and all the equipment looked brand new. There was even a spin class going on up stairs!
Next time I'm in Medford, even if my hotel does have a gym I may have to stop in!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Anna P.San Francisco, CA1412912Oct 18, 2015
I did a free 7 day trial at this gym, and came away with a very favorable impression, but did not end up joining, and here's why: it's too small.
The facilities are great; really clean, well maintained and well thought out. However, with just a handful of people here, it feels crowded. I'm the sort of gym-goer who's constantly thinking, don't look at me, I look like a beached whale in yoga pants, and I'm sweating my metaphorical balls off. So being in such a small room with a bunch of other sweaty people sort of doesn't work for me.
I think if you're lifting, it's fine, but if you're doing cardio and are going at peak hours, expect to wait for an elliptical or treadmill. Also, there's only one stair climber, and someone is always on it. If you want weight machines, their selection is basic and limited, again by space.
I had a great experience with the staff there. They were really friendly and I felt no pressure to join. Sort of the exact opposite of every 24hr Fitness I've ever been to.
This place isn't doing anything wrong, they just have a location that is a bit too small to serve the purpose. I would absolutely have joined if it weren't for the crowded feeling.
They also have the most reasonable membership fees in the area, with a joining fee of $40 and membership of (I think) $40/month, so if you only go to the gym a couple of days a week, or are not sure you'll stick with it, this gym may make the most sense for you.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Yo M.Ashland, OR078Mar 25, 2015First to Review
The facility is new, clean, and, you guessed it, open 24 hours a day. The equipment is probably some of the newest around since this location has only been open a few months now and it's all straightforward and easy to use. Most aerobic machines come with a TV on it and there are also a couple of flat screens mounted around the bottom floor. On the second floor (more of a loft) you will find the spin bikes and a rower as well as a few other pieces of equipment. They do a couple of classes here that are included in the membership - spin, boot camp, and yoga - most of which are early in the morning (think 5:30 or 6:15 am). There are 3 spacious bathrooms, all of which have showers and one of which includes a sauna. The free weight area is smallish but has all of the equipment you need to get a god workout.
My only real complaints about the gym is about the music. They have today hit's (i.e. to same 15 songs) blasting at all hours of the day, which makes it hard if you didn't bring your headphone and don't like Katy Perry, Kanye West, or Bruno Mars. Even if you do have headphones, you probably won't be able to hear whatever you were hoping to because it's pretty loud. Other than that, it would be nice if there were so more class options for those of us that can't bare the thought of getting out of bed at the crack of dawn.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - John J.Visalia, CA114Nov 22, 2019
I have been a member just under a year.Im super nice to the staff ...The only nice person was this younger kid that was there ..Hes gone ...
.I'm a clean person so I get to the gym and do little nice things ,clean the weights leftover from a day of people not cleaning up .. .The gym is super small anda mess weights are falling apart...Sauna wont heat up that high .The shower heads leak.Theres never any soap or the sope machines are broken...No good leg or calf machine ..or any equipment you have to rig your workouts ..All the weights are screwed together and when you try to pick up any weights over your head they almost fall on top of you. This happens to me over and over at least 50 times with 100.p whight over my head.i have almost injured myself many times one this..or death .None of the weights are good and its basically cement inside the weights
..No metal ,All even with all the plates are like this ..Its no better than home equipment. They dont have many things for a normal workout..I agree with people complaining about key fob issues..let me tell you ,I will pay and still be locked out .I bang on the door and gave to get people to let me in it sucks when your outside early in the cold and get locked out..I took a friend for a free trial and got him a free 7 day pass..they were too busy to talk to him so I basically had him sign paperwork and show him around..they Sunday give him a key to get inside ..I gave him my.key that day so we could meet in the morning and we did...Today they confronted me and said I have my key to a friend I was being thrown out for good ..I tried to talk and explain they were treating me like a criminal ..I could could only take so much and i told them I will go I just want my money back..They refused and treated me like trash ..If they treat a good nice customer that helps them out everyday ,what will they donto you?Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sindy N.Eagle Point, OR03Dec 22, 2015
I did a 7 Day pass to Anytime in Central Point, OR. I loved it. I normally have my own equipment but some of it is being repaired. I missed going to a gym after I came from there. The only criticism I have is that there are not enough machines but the free weights make up for that if you already know how to work out. I also enjoyed the smallness of it. I have worked out in large gyms and I think I like this one is better because it is smaller and cleaner than what I was used to in the past. It is also fairly close to me as I only need to drive 15 to 20 minutes to get there and it is open 24 hours. Good service and over all a very nice gym.

I love this gym because it's very clean and updated with new equipment. The personal training sessions have been amazing! Thank you!
