    Most to least favorite:

    -Dark chocolate chip
    -Cookies and cream
    -Peanut buttercup
    -White chocolate macadamia
    -Oatmeal chip
    -Toffee (way too buttery)

But even with this ranking, I would gladly eat any of the cookies if they were in front of my face. They were chewy around the edges and soft in the center. I am biased towards a classic chocolate chip, but loved how this dark chocolate version was not as sweet. I could eat... so... many. And I will.

So many types of yummy cookies, it's hard to decide!  Owner Antoine is super down to earth and friendly.  He even offered to cut up a cookie of my choice to sample.  This small shop has quite a lot to offer in terms of variety, and prices are quite reasonable (and for generous-sized cookies).  I ended up getting a baker's dozen to share with colleagues and family, with the following mix: toffee, cookies and cream, chocolate chip, dark chocolate chip, peanut butter cup, and macadamia white chocolate.  All the cookies were a great hit, with toffee and cookies and cream being the favorite ones.

Keep up the fresh and yummy goodness, Antoine!

Stopped by because I was drawn in by the intoxicating smells. I'm normally pretty snobby when it comes to cookies because I can make some pretty good ones ;) And smells, as good as they are, can be deceiving (think Ms Fields at the mall, damn good smell but pretty whatevs in flavor).

It is a small little shop and they do have a CC minimum of $1 which is laughable because I'm not sure what you're getting there that is less than a dollar. But thank goodness they accept CC. I just got a milk chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie which was freaking bomb. Texture was the perfect soft, pliable, kind of cookie that is doughy and gives a little when you bite into it. Flavor was rich, buttery, very tasty. I would definitely come back to try the rest of the cookies here.

This place brought the cookie monster out of me. Stopped by after I was stuffed from dinner, and I couldn't resist on dessert.

Wow. I fell in love after the first bite. They really mastered the art of baking cookies. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. My boo & I just had to buy half a dozen, and I still don't feel guilty about it.

Overall, my favorite was the cookies & cream. There's little pieces of oreos in each bite. The first bite is sweet, then you get an after taste of a little saltiness. Cookie. Heaven.

You will see more of me, Antoine's Cookies.

I'm typically not a fan of cookies, but had to stop in given all the rave reviews. $1.40 for the regular cookies, ~$4 for premium kinds.

    - COOKIES AND CREAM: this is a must try. tastes perfectly homemade - not manufactured and overly sweet.  Perfectly chewy in the center, crispy on the outside -- and wonderful notes of vanilla as you eat it.

    - OREO FILLED CHOCO CHIP: would pass next time. Exterior too dry and the phenomenon of an oreo on the inside, less fun. Plus, there are a ton of different flavors to try!

NOMS. can't wait to come back for more flavors!!

I would've never known about this place if it wasn't for Christine B.! Tucked away on 2nd Ave is a small high ceiling shop loaded with circular yet imperfectly shaped cookies, multiple racks of fresh baked treats waiting to make it onto the porcelain white display trays at the front counter.

I've sampled chocolate chip from my friend before but decided to get half a dozen to try a few out. $1.40 each or 6 for $8. They had milk chocolate macadamia and dark chocolate available the day I went, normally not on the online menu. My box consisted of cookies & cream, milk choco macadamia, white choco macadamia, peanut butter cup, walnut chip, and oatmeal chip. I had high expectations for cookies & cream and oatmeal chip. While still tasty with a firmer texture (will break off if you shake the box a little too much), they weren't for me. Cookies & cream doesn't seem to have actual choco chips in it, which is fine. It's a much simpler cookie without the riff raffs of texturizing chips & nuts. I'm being totally unfair to oatmeal chip, which was probably baked with love, just because a friend of mine, Jeanette G., makes the most amazing oatmeal choco chip PB M&M monster cookies ever! And nothing can compete with that, at least for oatmeal chip.

My perspective changed after biting into the glorious walnut chip-- so freaken f-a-n-t-a-s-t-i-c!! Warm, slightly melted chocolate chips staining my fingertips and buttery walnuts giving an extra delicate crunch ... omahgah! I found my favorite! Or pretty much the only cookie I'll come back for. For the walnut chip, Antoine's receives 5 stars! I'm surprised the display tray only held about half the amount of the other varieties. I guess regular chocolate chip takes the cake, and macadamias. Speaking of mac, those cookies burst of macadamias in practically every mouthful. You can see the large island nut from any angle, no shortage here.

Peanut butter cup is too sweet. Anyone that knows me knows how closely tied my name is to dessert. But, peanut butter cup makes me rethink the whole sugar game. Try it out if you love PB? Be prepared not to eat anymore sugar the rest of the day.

Customer service was fine; one polite lady ran the shop Saturday afternoon. Owner Antoine wasn't in, I heard he's rarely there but that he's a people person that gets along with just about everyone. Well, his cookies speak volumes and seems like his passion for baking helps create specific cookies for the different types of people in the world.

One day, I'll come back for walnut chip and will try out snickerdoodle.

3.5 I would have rounded up, if I hadn't found a piece of hair in one of my cookies.

I can definitely see why people like this place! Antoine's cookies is very similar to Anthony's cookies in San Francisco. I'm not huge on sweets, but every now and then you just get a craving.

I shared a dozen with my friend! 12 cookies for $15. Brings down the price of the cookie to $1.25 rather than $1.40.

I got the Oatmeal (x2), Snickerdoodle, Peanut buttercup, Walnut chip, and Toffee.

I wish the oatmeal cookie was an oatmeal raisin rather than oatmeal, chip, and walnut. I felt like it was the same cookie as the walnut chip...They ran out of the macadamia nut with regular chips. Snickerdoodle was my favorite. It wasn't too sweet and had the right amount of cinnamon-y goodness. Toffee was my second favorite, but it is quite sweet.

I feel like the quality here is just okay, why was there a piece of hair in my cookie?! I probably wouldn't go out of my way to travel from the East Bay to get cookies from here.

In my opinion 3.5 stars, but 4 stars for an overall great cookie that I'm sure is a crowd favorite because it's 1) thin, and soft in the middle, 2) chewy on the outside, and 3) creative with the flavor combos.

The cookies and cream was my favorite over the chocolate chip (a little too boring).

I'm a baker, so maybe I'm biased, but Antoine's Cookie Shop is pretty average in my book. $1.40 for a singular cookie is quite high, even if they use Guittard. The cookies we tried were nothing remarkable, and overly sweet, if anything.

Based on the owner's submitted profile of the shop, they don't actually bake anything on-site ("We now offer nine cookies made in a certified kitchen in San Jose, California"), which is bizarre. Also, his claims of the cookies being 'innovative' seems like a bit of a joke - all the flavors I saw (in a fully stocked case) were very basic ones. I have nothing against a good old fashioned chocolate chip cookie, but don't pretend like you 'innovated' it, hmm?

I'm curious to see if this place will really last, especially given their high prices and odd choice of being closed on Sundays.

Sometimes you just can't help yourself. I mean, who the hell doesn't like a good cookie?

I jumped in head first and got 2 dozen cookies. At least two of every kind which included chocolate chip, cookies and cream, milk chocolate macadamia, white chocolate macadamia, milk chocolate oatmeal, white chocolate oatmeal, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, toffee, and the inception cookie. If I was forced at knife point to pick just one, the cookies and cream is the way to die.

Relatively reasonable pricing. $1.40 per cookie or $15 per dozen. Inception cookie is $4. Which came first, the cookie or the cookie?

The best and well-made cookies are when the edges are crispy but the middle is soft. This place is it!! I got the chocolate chip with macadamia nuts and toffee, and it was SO GOOD. A lot of people compare this to Anthony's in SF but this place is a ton better. Anthony's was too crispy when I went. I would come back to Antonie's with no hesitation.

I'm a self proclaimed cookie monster and I'm constantly on the hunt for the perfect cookie. Mr. Dubs and I stumbled on Antoine's Cookie Shop on our after dinner Pokemon walk one night and couldn't resist. Unfortunately, Antoine's Cookie Shop just didn't quite do it for us. It's not to say that their cookies weren't delicious, they were just a little too sweet and not quite worth the price.

    Here's what we tried:

    - Cookies and Cream - Sorry, but nowhere near Anthony's Cookies. They were too sweet for my liking, but the density was on point.
    - Inception Cookie - For those who are unfamiliar with the Inception Cookie, this is an Oreo cookie baked into a chocolate chip one. It sounds more interesting than it tasted- the chocolate chip cookie was relish, but couldn't taste the Oreo much.
    - M&Ms - Believe it or not, m&m cookies are my absolute fave. You can rarely go wrong with them, but I found that this one crumbled a little too easily. Could be because we stopped by at the last 30 minutes of the night tho.

Overall, I think Antoine's is worth a visit if you're in the area, but not worth having to travel out of your way.

I am a complete sucker for a cookie with a soft, gooey center and nice crispy edges -
    Antoine's nails this.

I happened upon here one day after seeing a small line out the door. My first thought was, "really, all they sell is cookies...can they be THAT good that there is a line out the door?" Yes, the answer is yes; this small cookie shop is definitely worth the wait.

They  have a huge selection of cookies and some are very unique. We picked up a chocolate chip, toffee, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, and white chocolate chip. Yes, the cookies aren't "cheap", but they are worth the $1.40/piece. My favorite? The toffee! It is slightly sweet, chewy yet crunch, and baked to absolute perfection...it melted in my mouth. One thing I also liked is that they use chocolate from Guittard, which is local. It is sweet, but not too sweet or overpowering.

They also offer mini cookies if you call and order a day ahead. I definitely will be doing this and bringing them to the next family/friend event I attend.

A dozen cookies for only $15. Of course this place would be compared to Anthony's Cookies in SF. Im very familiar with Anthony's since I work down the block from them. They are pretty comparable to Anthony's. I actually believe that the Oatmeal Chip and Toffee are better HERE. Antoine probably has the best oatmeal chip cookies I've ever had. The big difference in the toffee cookies is that these toffee cookies are a tad bit sweeter but I think it's because their cookies have crunchy chucks of toffee. The Anthony's version doesn't have crunchy chunks. What I also like about Antoines cookies is that all their cookies are not uniform in shape, which makes each cookie unique.

Warning these are addicting. I walked by once with my bro, noticed a new shop and decided to get a few. They were soft, gooey, and so good.

Walked near it again and couldn't resist going in.I just had to get a few more cookies

3rd time me and my bro went to Ben Tre, but before we walked in, we looked across the street to the cookie shop. We both wanted to go, but with it being so late, we only had a hour before they closed. We almost raced through our pho just to make sure we had time for cookies after. Unfortunately so late at night, there was only a couple flavors left.

All that said, I do wish they were a bit cheaper. Think they are $1.40 each, Wish they were $1 or even $1.25, $1.40 just seems a bit random. Also wish they had some deals like buy 5 get 1 free or something. It's hard to go in there and just get 1 or 2.

    Okay, what just happened??

I just took one bite of Antoine's chocolate chip cookie and was instantly transported into cookie-madness-heaven... Don't know where that is? Go to Antoine's and you'll find out.

Antoine's cookies were sweet... Buttery soft... With a nice chew that only perfectly baked cookies possess... THEY WERE DELICIOUS. Prices are great too, $1.40 per large cookie or $15 per dozen. You could also order online where they have mini cookies available for $0.70 each. Antoine himself was kind and helpful, even offering samples with a smile!

    Best flavors IMO:
    1. Chocolate Chip
    2. Peanut Buttercup
    3. Cookies and Cream
    4. Oatmeal Chip
    5. White Chocolate Oatmeal
    6. Walnut Chip
    7. Snicker Doodle
    8. White Chocolate Macadamia
    9. Toffee

But who am I kidding, all of them were great!

Since they just opened 2 months ago, I would totally suggest doing a rewards program of some sort to keep loyalty going.
I'm also crossing my fingers and hoping for them to expand their cookie flavors, cause I would die for a red velvet cookie.

Anyway, thank you Antoine. The cookie gods are smiling upon us :)

Antoine's Cookies is the best. We regularly get them at work - my favorite is the snickerdoodle or the white chocolate macadamia.

The cookies are always the right amount of sweetness and super soft.

If you catch Antoine in the shop - chat him up! He's a super nice guy.

    Closed on Sundays.

Absolutely LOVE his cookies. I'm not a be fan of peanut butter cookies, but I thought I'd give it a try, and I even loved his peanut butter cup cookie! If you can make me like peanut butter cookies, it goes without saying how his chocolate chip or cookies and cream cookies are- AMAZING

Small shop with high quality cookies!  I've tried a lot of flavors but my favorite is still the cookies and cream cookie.  Oreo cookies crushed into a cookie, amazing and genius.  $1.40 per cookie.

They also have a cookie where they have baked a whole oreo cookie into a chocolate chip cookie.  It's fascinating, but it's $4.00!
