You'd think an antique mall being in the middle of nowhere would have cheaper prices to move inventory, but no. Like most antique malls, what used things that they sell in today's market gotta be much more pricier than what it's actually worth.
With that being said, at Lumberton Antique Mall, they have a wide selection of vintage glass, however, the prices aren't reasonable.
I managed to locate a pink Fenton Hobnail Shoe candy dish. Something I hadn't seen before, although, with closer look a noticed a huge crack, and you would think the price would match the imperfections. Nope, the booth dealer was still selling the piece for $24.95.
*Eye Roll*
I managed to find only one booth that had reasonable items and lucky me, I found a pink Fenton Carnival glass compote in pristine condition and plus on top of that it still had the Fenton sticker on it.
I went through the whole store, it taking me an hour and half to search for the piece I was looking for only not to find it.
To my surprise, I got tired of viewing so I went to check out then the biggest whammy of it all, really this takes the cake. One of the lady staff member "jokes" with me about how she should check my purse to ensure I didn't steal anything. Hmm, that's not something that you should even mention to a minority.
Such a distasteful comment which left me feeling uncomfortable. Being a sucker of carnival glass, I paid for the piece and left.
I can't say that I'll return.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1111416Dec 20, 2023
Flew in from FL to visit family. With ABSOLUTELY nothing to do in such a small town, we decided to go antiquing. SO SO SO glad we did and found some stores open. This being one of them.
There was SOOOOOOOO much to browse through and I was able to find quite a few small things to fill my suitcase with and bring home. I collect angels and I found so many variations angel ornaments, knick-knacks, and decor. We even found an ashtray that was a hostess gift from Tiara Glassware. My mother was a hostess back in the day and she had received this same ashtray that my dad used until his passing. I was able to bring that home and now have another memory of my Daddy (even tho it wasn't actually his......... still brings about fond memories!)
The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and saw right thorough why I was collecting angels :') They even helped locate some that I had overlooked. The prices were fantastic!! Wish I couldv'e brought home some of the furniture finds that were there!!!
This stop was the most fruitful stop of our shopping trip. Thank you to the staff at Antique Mall of Lumberton!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I absolutely love this place. For a small town antique mall, it's really full of awesome finds. It definitely requires a good amount of searching, as does any antique shopping trip, but I never leave empty handed.
On my last visit (I always try to stop when I go back to SouthEast Texas), I was able to handle a good chunk of my Christmas shopping, to include most of an antique china set, for MUCH less than I'd pay for it in a larger city. They seem to understand their customer, and know that the Hardin County area isn't going to pay a lot for their antiques. It's a hidden gem that never disappoints. I only wish they were closer to me, since there's no way I'll drag an antique chest or the like all the way back to San Antonio.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Megan B.San Marcos, TX9137111Jan 29, 2014
Never ending antique mall! There are at least 10 rooms, all of incredible antiques with low prices. I spent hours in here, so happily! I bought a pearl necklace and bracelet for $7.00 a piece, a guitar-shaped bottle opener for $4.00, and a fragile ceramic flower for $5.00. I would have expected to pay $33.00 instead of $23.00!!

An excellent little place to stop! Friendly staff, great selection. Smaller housewares, well framed medium size prints, some fabrics & notations.
