Compared to a few other laundry and dry-cleaning services that I have used in the Leesburg, VA area over the last 7+ years, I HAD been mostly pleased with Angel Cleaners UNTIL recently. I've used them for probably a little over a year now, and have easily spent over $2000 on their services in that time period. Two weeks ago, I brought to their attention that a brand-new shirt, fresh out of the shopping bag, that I left with them for laundering (along with about 10 other dress/business casual shirts) was never returned to me. The woman behind the counter refused to acknowledge that it was even possible that they could have lost the shirt, and all of my attempts to ask whether or not they had a "lost and found" area that they could check seemed to fall on deaf ears; this was further challenged by HER apparent challenge with understanding and communicating in English. I understand that mistakes happen, and I could have written the $55 loss off as one of those unfortunate mistakes. However, the woman showed absolutely NO remorse or understanding that I, as one of their customers, had unfortunately (and most probably inadvertently), been on the impacted end of one of these mistakes. I gave myself a couple of weeks to "breathe", and when picking up the $50 worth of laundry and dry-cleaning today, asked if a "misplaced shirt" had been found or turned-in over the last two weeks, and she very glibly responded "No" -- and the way she said it even seemed condescending.
I believe that when customers are truly valued, they are not treated THIS way. Not even the tiniest of apologies or regret was communicated or offered by this woman. This is NOT a business that I want to continue giving my hard-earned money to, considering that they have a representative behind the counter that really does not care or offer ANY kind of appropriate action, when a customer had suffered a loss that was the fault of one of the employees of the business.
I will now, regretfully, have to FIND ANOTHER cleaners to use for my laundry and dry-cleaning. I only gave them the "two-stars" for a rating, because I had generally been pleased with their services, e.g., relatively few broken buttons, and relatively few iron and rust stains showing up on my garments/shirts from their services. Considering alone the interaction with, and lack of empathy from, the woman working behind their counter gives them a rating of negative 5.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Betsy S.Stephens City, VA494916Aug 15, 2016
I've been going to them for about 6 years and I've never had a complaint. They are a little bit pricey but they do "double starch" the best in the area.
They don't pick up their phone if you ever have a question, so I posted their hours.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Katie H.Bluemont, VA4175May 4, 2019
I have been a loyal Angel Cleaners costumer for 8+ years mainly for alterations. I have recommended them to many of my friends for alterations as well. They have always been pricey but do nice work. Recently I took a bridesmaid dress to be altered and had a friend take hers there as well. I was charged $106 for hem and side take in. My friend was charged $77 for the same exact alterations. When I asked why mine was more expensive they told me it was because the bottom part was "wider" which is untrue the as they are the same dress. I will not be returning because it seems that they just make up prices for different people.

They are amazing!!! My daughter and I leave for a national gymnastics Competition in Iowa tomorrow morning. The zipper on her team Competition bag was broken. I went to the cleaners by my house and my office. Both told me no. I remember getting alterations done at Angels so I drove across town to see if they could help. She actually looked at the bag. Said the zipper did not need to be replaced, took it to the back and reappeared 2 minutes later with it fixed and at no charge!!! New customer for life! Even if they are not the most convenient!

My sister and i have been going to Angels for a year. Our other coeaner was sold to owners and the quality of the cleaning left much to be desired. Angels is consciencious of spots on the clothes, are always on time, and their seamstress does great work. Love the hours as well

The customer service here is terrible. I was quoted a verbal price for 2 dresses to be hemmed. No receipt was provided. When I went to pick up the dresses the lady asked me to pay double the price she quoted me and said that the price she originally quoted me was PER dress. Ridiculous. She said I was trying to scam her and started cussing me out. I would have payed her double and called it a misunderstanding but ...If you dont provide your customers with a receipt or have a pricing menu, chance for miscommunication is a given....so no need to start accusing anyone immediately or yelling. So unprofessional it's comical.

Very expensive. Better off going to Cleaners4Less paying $1.99 per piece of clothing versus $7.50
