Q:
Is there a vegan menu? Thank you in advance 😁
A:
You might contact Lin (Manager) to find out if they can do vegan dishes when you are there. My only concern is that there may be cross over concerns with the kitchen as there are meat products that could come into the food inadvertently.

An update .... I continue to go there several times per week.....I have taken neighbors there too and they are hooked as well. High quality ingredients, very clean and great friendly staff who are happy to work with you on your dishes. Best Chinese place that I have found in Vegas after doing a fair amount of research!

This is a cozy Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall with about 20 tables. We were able to get a reservation for 11 on a Saturday night. The architecture and decor are dated, but it's welcoming for the most part.
We started with the bbq pork, they had hot mustard and sweet and sour sauce for it. The hot mustard was good. The sweet and sour was okay. I wish they had sesame seeds on the side, but in the preparation here they were already on the pork.
For the meal we had both pork fried rice and chicken fried rice both of which were good but not great. We got both orange chicken and orange beef. Both were flavorful and slightly spicy. We also had Mongolian beef, very good, good spice. Someone accidentally ate a red pepper and was overwhelmed with spice. I asked for the rest of the red peppers. Also black pepper beef. This sauce was so good! It included bell peppers and onion. Definite recommend. Finally we had the whole reason we came. Almond Chicken. We moved here from Washington state and hadn't yet had Almond Chicken like we're used to. It was so good. The breading on the chicken was perfect. The sauce/gravy was a little thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was on point.
This was our first trip here, but definitely not the last.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 15, 20241 check-in
Stopped by Amlee Chinese Cuisine for a late lunch. The lunch rush was finished, so there were only a few tables of people. I made it before 3pm when the lunch specials end. While the building is older, the restaurant itself is clean and the wait staff is always nice.
I got one of the lunch specials that includes the entree, egg roll, soup of the day and choice of steamed or egg fried rice.
The food tasted great and the prices are still reasonable. Definitely worth stopping for lunch!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rey F.Las Vegas, NV1014840Apr 23, 2024
Great food, great service! This place is a hidden gem and local favorite not to miss! Do search YouTube for Let's Eat Vegas and you'll see a review that I can confirm all that he liked - but you'll see more that'll make Amlee become your favorite go to.

We stopped by for lunch and tried their Mongo Beef lunch special: We've been here a few times since far but the Mongolian Beef is our favorite. The Beef is very tender and it's not heavily sauced or too sweet. I just saw a YouTuber showcase this restaurant on one of his videos. The few items that we need to try from the A La Carte menu are the pressed duck and the Egg Foo Young which looked really good on the YouTube video, The service is good here and prompt especially during lunch time.

Service may be a little slow, but they do their best.
Food portions are great, as they give you a soup to begin with, and then your main course. Plenty of fried rice and an egg roll with the entree that you order, so portion size is worth it.
Some items are a hit, and some dishes are a miss, so you just want to order the right dishes. So far, I've found that the Mongolian Beef and General Chicken are quite good!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - Mar 8, 2023
Great food, perfect portion sizes, and great prices.
I entered hungry and left stuffed. Staff was kind and food was served quickly.
The ambiance was relaxed yet beautiful white table and all.
The only downside was the food was not spicy or temperature hot.
Great location right off Sunset.Helpful 6Thanks 1Love this 4Oh no 0 - Mark A.Southeast, Paradise, NV04Apr 18, 2024

We got takeout, I forgot to take a picture but definitely will next time. They had fried prawns. They were the size of half of your palm! They were huge and juicy with a light crispy tempura batter that shattered like glass when you bit into it. The broccoli beef that was recommended by the server was the most tender I've ever seen beef. The broccoli that was with it was also tender with a tiny bite to it. And the sauce was so yummy I could have a glass of it. We also ordered shrimp fried rice and it wasn't showered in soy sauce, instead it had a very light soy sauce flavor and additional packets to add to it. It tasted like those Chinese restaurants you ate from when you were a kid. The shrimp chow mein was also really delicious because the noodles weren't oily or too chewy, instead they were chewy just enough. We also ordered egg rolls and the egg rolls were nicely fried they were full of chicken unlike the ones that have barely filling inside. We got a peach tea and a mango tea. Being a tea connoisseur as you know those teas were also definitely one of the best ones. They were very lightly sweet, and for both of them you could taste the fresh peaches and the mangos with a slight floral note to them. Definitely our top Chinese restaurant!

One star for the service .
Food is so so. Went downhill over time I guess. It used to be my favorite Chinese food in town.
We ordered Amlee's fried rice and strawberry chicken.
Fried rice is nothing special.
But the strawberry chicken is the worst. They put some cheap strawberry smothered all over fried chicken and it tasted like crap.
When I spoke to the master chef regarding the low quality of food, he seemed lost and surprised as if he was unaware.
I also brought this to my waitress attention, she said now you know not to order this dish again.
Well Amlee turned into overrated and overpriced Chinese food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
