WOULD IT KILL THESE GUYS TO PUT ON A PAIR OF GLOVES? They touch raw meat, wipe their noses, clean up garbage...then make your food. One and done for me here.

Excellent food, nice people, never had a bad experience. Had the best double cheeseburger today that I have ever had. Super fresh meat that melted in your mouth

How disappointing !! Just came home with a sandwich from Amity meat Center cost me $9.12 literally the hardest roll ever. Throwing it in the garbage and literally making scrambled eggs !!! Feeling robbed !!

Love the meat & lox freshly cut to order, the pastry's, bagels and all the prepared foods! Judy's Tuna is loved by all.. no other place has matched her flavor!
Hey, it's a tough market today with Covid and people having personal tragedies... there some nasty people giving some undeserving mean reviews and it's sad!
Always a go to place for many... weekly, some daily for sandwiches, special occasions, holidays... guaranteed quality food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 9, 2019
This place has some great options for lunch. They do catering and they have a place to sit with your co workers. I came here for lunch to try it out. I was impressed about how busy the place is during lunch time. So you know the food is good there. I will have to go back and try some other options. I had the chicken salad on a wrap and it was bigger than I thought. It was delicious and was not as small as I thought. I finished the first part of my wrap before I was able to take a picture of it. That's how good it was

Amity meat, like many places in the area, gave me an experienced that was colored by the fact that my partner is a regular. We stopped in for burgers and sandwiches on our way through and before we even walked in, the staff was so happy to see him and were asking how he'd been.
I got the tuna salad sandwich and it was great. The sandwich was warm and the bread was toasted just right - with the cheese melted just enough.
The burgers are delicious and I was happy to have gotten to try them. They grind the meat fresh (we brought home raw meat) and you could tell it didn't come out of styrofoam. It makes a huge difference.
They also sell Liuizzi's mozzarella and I love me some of that. Overall, great place to grab a bit and get some things to cook for later.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott F.Wallingford, CT510615Mar 31, 2019
I had an impromptu lunch during work earlier this week, and thoroughly enjoyed one of my go-tos - a Reuben. It was as good as the one I had at Carnegie Deli years ago (minus the fact it is not a mile-high nor $25 like theirs was). Taste-wise it was delicious and completely satisfying. Be prepared to go through 10 napkins, as this is a required element of a good Reuben.
The new interior dining area is beautiful and comfortable. For a Thursday, the lunch crowd was plentiful - always the sign of good food.
Service was prompt and polite. I was surprised to see the previous posts after my visit and before my own post. I would not hesitate to return if in the area at mealtime.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mike S.Flemington, NJ16Aug 14, 2021
It's sad. It's a place full of nasty, full of themselves workers who think it's a privilege to wait on you. Hey Owner - gruff isn't "cool" anymore. Lots of other choices you probably can't afford to ignore. Seymour has a great market with staff that aren't jerks and prices are MUCH more reasonable. Trust me. Go elsewhere.

WOW. I have never been spoken to the way I was spoken to today. I called Amity Meat to see if they had a certain item in stock that I could order and pick up. Since I was ordering a few pounds of the item and not a small container, I wanted to make sure it would be available before making the trip over there. Ms. Nasty Pants, who is apparently allowed to converse over the phone as a representative for this business, was highly annoyed that I had burdened her with such an inconvenient phone call. As she huffed and puffed and put me on "hold" to scream across the counter, my question was never truly answered. Then she tells the customer she is servicing, while still on the line with me, that "she can't stand people who try to shop over the phone." Obviously, I hung up on her. What a waste of time, and HORRIBLE customer service.

Not a fan after today ! I ordered a couple of sandwiches and the 2 women making them had gone over washed their hands then put on gloves to assemble the order. Out of the raw meat side comes a guy who starts assembling a tuna sandwich for himself and without washing his hands or putting on gloves dives into the lettuce and tomato's with his nasty fucking hands ? Ever wonder how people get really sick ?? Employees should be washing their hands constantly and wearing gloves !! Period !!!
