To call this an Amish shop is super deceptive and misleading. It is a cluttered gift shop with most tourism stuff and a shelf of very overpriced jellies and pickles. Such as $8.95 for a pint of pickles. Do yourself a favor and drive through Harmony to the real Amish farms and support them, not this so called fake store that reeks of candles. What a serious let down.

After the frenetic rush of getting our niece married in Minnesota we had some time to relax for a few days. On one of those days Steve's sister, Judy took us to Lanesboro. The town is adorable and Autumn was in full swing with the leaves changing. The Amish Experience was one of the stores we went into downtown. As far as I can tell a great deal of the merchandise here is made by the Amish. They had some adorable Halloween and Thanksgiving items! The store set out samples of crackers and some dips that they were selling here which were wonderful!
Tourist season was over by the time we came through but this motivates me to go on an Amish tour whenever we are back in the area!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Nick S.Rochester, MN0191Aug 10, 2017
Neat store that sells expired goods. I was happy with my experience for the most part until I got home and found that, of the 4-5 things we bought, all were expired by several months or more. When we emailed the Amish Experience about the expired goods, we received zero response back.
