A hidden treasure! I found a wonderful selection of tastefully decorated wreathes and grave blankets, plus a holiday center brimming with trees and decorations. Magnificent fresh poinsettias as well. Staff was super accommodating. I will definitely return!

As a landscaper I primarily used a different supplier. I was in the middle of a project and called my previous supplier for a delivery of topsoil. they told me they were too busy....even after it was them that miscalculated the amount of soil I would need for the project. So I called amatos who I had randomly done business with previously. They delivered the soil right away and they gained a new customer for life now I buy 90% of my stuff from Amatos and only purchase elsewhere if I'm not in the area.
Keep up the good work Amato's.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jonny B.Princeton, NJ05Jun 30, 2014
I used them for a landscaping job and now I'm regretting it. I should have known things were not going to be great when I met the Owner (Amato?) to talk about the project and he seemed totally uninterested and made it seem like he was doing me a favor by taking on my project. Anyway, to cut a long story short I was over charged for the job (which included laying soil, planting shrugs, etc, and it took twice as long as promised. The final outcome looked nothing like we had discussed. Very disappointed in the Amato's attitude and customer service.
As for the plant selection and garden supplies, this garden center is the most expensive in the area, and the selection isn't that great. If you have the time drive down Route 130 towards Robbinsville. A&M Garden Center, Timothy's, Country Gardens all have better selection of plants and much less expensive.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John D.Kendall Park, NJ04Jul 14, 2015
We've used Amato's for 3 large projects over the past 8 years years. The first project was a 1,000 square foot raised paver patio, 2nd was a paver patio around an in-ground pool, and 3rd was a paver front-walkway. All 3 projects included landscaping, low voltage lighting, mulch, decorative stones, etc. After the first project; I was hooked on Amato's and have never even considered using anyone else. Peter (owner) has been in business for many years and has established a reputation for quailty work at fair prices. The Amato's team are true craftsmen at what they do; with an attention to detail that can't be matched. From start to finish, you know exactly what you are getting, have input into the design, and have a clear understanding of the costs. The raised patio is now 8 years old and looks as good as the day it was installed. I highly recommend Amato's for all of your hardscape and landscape needs - they are true professionals.

This is a great place to buy your plant and garden supplies - all year round. We buy our annuals from here and last year bought some perennials - hydranzeas and others (sorry about the spelling). Great variety and a very knowledgeable owner.
