Got in and get out within 15 minutes. Smog guy his name is Binh I think is a really cool dude. Highly recommend to get smog here.

Called to schedule an appointment. Binh (the owner) told me to come on Saturday. I had a 1998 Acura so I had to use a Star Certification Station. Price was reasonable. I was in and out of the place in 20 mins. Definitely a recommended place to take your car for smog.

My father has been coming to ALS Smog & Repair for 5+ years and so when I brought up needing a smog test he recommended this place. I called ALS Smog & Repair on a Friday morning to setup an appointment for a Smog test/certification ($40). I came in at 11:00AM and the worker, Binh Do, immediately took my car in and started the inspection. It took less than 20 minutes. He even provided a physical copy of my Smog check report and informed me he will notify DMV. Efficient, professional, and a great service. Highly recommended.

Bingo, I found the right place for smog check. My 1996 Camry failed 2 times on HC. Fuel cleaner was not help. I found ALS Star Smog and Repair on Yelp's. Bình inspected my car then went on Amazon. He showed me the solution Cataclean and told me just follow the instructions on the bottle. My car passed Smog check

Binh is the man to go to. Firstly this shop only charges 40 for smog only. Really the cheapest around. I had a failed smog and Binh was very patient in walking through all scenarios as well as keeping in mind budgetary issues. I couldnt get my car fixed here but i should have instead of going to the dealership to pass smog. Binh gave lots of advice on what may be wrong with my car as i tried to self diagnose. Would recommend! Will be back for all future smogs!

THis place is in Milpitas, behind Milpitas Police Station. The circle street houses a number of auto related business. The germ among them is ALS. It is smog check only, but STAR certified. The place is quiet and seclude so difficult to notice in the corner of a repair facility. However, the business is honest and fast. I brought my cars there for years. Most recently, a 20 years old Pilot for Star certification. I got it done within 30 minutes. Call first to see how busy it is before you go. I typically go there in Sat late morning.

On time and did a good job not only for me. I have a chance to obseve him dealing with other customers. He is very polite and patient. In return, he build a trust to his customer, me included. Thanks Binh.

This is a great no frills smog shop with great service. You are in and out of there in no time, and the prices are very fair. I've brought many of our cars there and have always had consistent service. Binh is very knowledgeable about the DMV process.
