The food is really good and the staff is really nice. Everything is really well balanced and the side pasta is amazing.

This place kind of reminds me of Ono Hawaiian. We stopped by the area because my husband's brother lives here and on our way home we were looking for a place to eat. Not sure if this is a family owned business, but the food was okay. I would definitely come back if I came in with someone, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come eat here. Nothing wrong with the food, it's actually good, it's just too similar to what I cook at home, so I probably wouldn't come here.

Staff was okay. The restaurant looked clean, restrooms were clean and there were tons of people coming in and out to dine in or take food home. I even saw Uber come in and out several times. When I see this, this automatically tells me that the food is fresh all the time.

If you're a fan of Ono Hawaiian then you'll like this place. Prices are pretty good and if you haven't tried it then you should definitely check this place out for yourself so you can review this place based on your own experience.

Good food, love the boba/drink choices and the variety of "local" Hawaiian foods. Friendly staff and a bright atmosphere lend to an enjoyable, tropical experience.

I usually get the bbq mix plate and it's really good. I have also tried the chicken katsu. I'll be trying their drinks next .

Their food is just ok. For me, the few times I've ordered meat, it was tough and overcooked. I think the best thing about this place is their drinks.

The portion was smaller than usual,seems like they have new owners.use to come here a lot back when they first opened due to I'm part Hawaiian and the food brings back my childhood memories.Not sure if I would be coming back here...There's Ono's and L&L

I stopped by for lunch around noon on a Monday and Aloha Express was completely empty inside with the exception of one other party dining at a table near the front. I placed an order for a chicken katsu entree and within ten minutes, my food was ready.

Unless you have a massive appetite, one order is more than enough to split between two people. You get two large scoops of rice, a scoop of macaroni salad, and a mountain of chicken. The chicken is fried really well: it's not too oily and the breading on the chicken is very thin. The chicken itself is really most as well.

This is definitely some of the best chicken katsu I've had.

Excellent chicken, fried fish, fried shrimp, katsu chicken and peach tea.

The food was delicious. Chicken Katsu is the best, juice, crispy, flavorful. Will definitely be back.
