Alleyway Caffe

Stumbled upon this place while on vacation in the area. It's located in the back of Martha's market and well worth the stop.
The baristas were super friendly and happy to answer any questions that we had. The decor was really cute and gave you plenty to look at while you're enjoying your beverage of choice. There's plenty of tables and space for you to sit down.
I ordered the vanilla bean Frappuccino and drank every last drop. I went for a small and was glad that I did because it was quite hefty.
If you have the opportunity to give this place a try, go for it!

We moved to the area and knew one of the first things we wanted was to find a solid coffee place. We visited Alleyway Coffee after reading reviews on Yelp.

It was a bit difficult to find so if you're going here know that it's in the back of a shop, keep an eye out for a small sign!

After wandering and checking out what the shop offered we walked to the back, found seating, and made our way to the counter.

From the moment we walked in there was a huddle next to the counter of 3 people chatting. They looked our way multiple times but I just assumed they were patrons.

After standing at the counter and another customer walking in, probably 5 minutes of standing, a girl came from the back and asked us what we'd like.

She barely looked at us, only said what was absolutely necessary, seemed annoyed when I asked questions about the menu. They were out of something I asked about, no biggie.

Eventually my husband and I place our orders, I got an energy drink and he got a coffee.

At the end, the girl who took our orders start chatting with the 3 people huddled in the walkway between the store and back area and we realize they work there.

All in all, my drink was fine, my husbands tasted burnt, and the store/coffee shop while absolutely adorable and inviting, the service and atmosphere was not.

A cute little spot nestled in downtown. The staff is exceptionally friendly with lots of knowledge of the area. We both got coffees which were hot and delicious! One of us got a gourmet grilled cheese which was a wonderful mix of flavors. We definitely recommend this cafe for anyone who's passing through!

Love the coffee here and the shop is so cute! This is a great place to grab a coffee in the morning and rock in the rocking chairs on the front porch while enjoying your beverage.

Super disappointed. I went out of my way to go here due to good reviews. Showed up and they were sold out of all the food products. I had my kid with me and asked if they had anything caffeine free and they lady working very carelessly goes "it's on the board". She didn't seem at all interested in my business so I walked right back out.

This was our third trip to Dandridge, but our first time looking for a coffee shop. Quaint, friendly with good customer service and an inviting atmosphere kept us here for a couple of hours chatting with family that we had met up with while in the area! I ordered the honey latte and was not disappointed. I'm sure when we're back in the area, we'll be back!

Handful of choices of fun named coffee choices. Teas and a daily lunch are also available. The girls inside were friendly and welcoming.

Alleyway Cafe offers delicious drinks hot and cold, homemade baked goods and panninis. We had two coffees and a bagel with butter (the butter was really good!) everything was excellent. So much better and less expensive than you know who! This is a great addition to Dandridge and I love supporting local small businesses.

While we were visiting Dandridge we enjoyed several Caramel Lattes and Chocolate Peppermint Lattes at The Alleyway Cafe. They were the perfect combination of coffee & sweetness. Not too sweet!
