Alexandros Pizza & Gyros

What a great meal at bargain prices! I was surprised when a friend suggested Alexandros for lunch. I now tip my hat to her suggestion.

Three of us had delicious gyros, fries, and drinks for $30.

The service was friendly and the establishment was clean.

Ate here after a pool day in Kalona on 6/27/2017. It sits next to the Westside Petro gas station and Bulltown Plaza.
Absolutely fabulous gyro!
Tons of meat, ziki sauce and onions. I omitted the tomatoes and it was still very full. I had the fries too. I got my order to go but the inside restaurant had many tables. Fries were very crispy and hot.
Can't wait to try their pizza as it looks delicious too. Will def be back again!

My husband has been telling me how great the gyro and fries are for awhile. We finally went there as a family and it was worth the drive. Their gyros and fries are delicious. My kids love the enormous chicken tenders (clearly chunks of unprocessed meat) and they filled my tween boy up. The Greek salad was pretty good too! We've been there twice this week. Clean and great service too!

A really yummy gyros piled high with meat, onions and tomatoes. A generous amount of sauce and crunchy fries-mmm! I ordered a combo of fried veggies-onion rings, mushrooms, cauliflower and cheese on the side and they were also delicious. It was a unexpected treat!

Ignore the lady who complained about pricing. She's wrong. Prices are very compatible for Kalona. She's comparing it to local convenience store pizza. You pay more at Alex's and that's because of the quality. Dont drive 20 miles and waste the gas to get something else. It's not worth it. Alex's is a very good midline restaurant that has a variety of food. You can feed the family here no problem.

So Delicious! A little hidden gem next to the BP gas station in Kalona. The meat was so fresh and juicy. We had the gyro and chicken gyro with fries. Everything was perfect! Great, fast service - good prices. Worth stopping by!

WOW!!!! This place is a very welcomed surprise! Authentic Greek cuisine and pizza! We had the gyro with fries and the Greek pizza. Gyro plentiful and delicious. Fries were light, crisp with soft potato center (perfect). The Greek pizza combined the awesomeness of the gyro with a light pizza crust that was heaped with toppings. This is a can't miss spot!
