Food is great and service is wonderful. Coming here around 3pm definitely beats the lunch rush and beats the dinner rush. It's great if you're looking for a meal that is filling and has the Texmex flavor. It's great!
The detailing in the restaurant and the decorations are wonderful. The space feels great and isn't too overcrowded.

This is my daughter and my favorite place to come together... she's ten, but I tell her when she comes home from college - this will be the place she asks to be taken to for the memories - she agrees.
It's not anything fancy, but it's fun and good Mexican food. The service is always fast and friendly.
I love their salsa and a lot of their dishes.
I had the guavarita - yummy! My daughter loves the non-alcoholic mango margarita.
We had a burrito bowl and the pollo enchiladas in white sauce. Both were amazing and way more than enough food.

ABSOLUTELY- BEYOND - PERFECT -
Dinner, service, and more this past evening! (Sat - 02-/18/2023)
We are so very pleased & excited about checking out this Ajo Al's location again!
And although it was a very busy Saturday evening, our server *BRITTANY*, absolutely wowed us by her excellent service & our food was amazing!
We tried out their new BIRRIA TACOS MEAL, and the taco's were beautifully plated and delicious!
Our longtime favorite, has been their ORIGINAL LOCATION - 90th St location,..

**Stars for the kitchen & food**
The decor & ambiance is very welcoming & comfortable.
*Our 1st dine in experience was quiet & nice, later evening. Food & service were good.
*Our 2nd visit was not the same, but the food was on its top level, once again!
-(Pictures are in order of each visit)-
Onto the kitchen:
**The KITCHEN does an AMAZING job with their beautiful plating & flavors, as well as getting those meals out pretty quickly!!**
FOODS:
We've tried a lot of tacos at various establishments, & a few of us agree that this business has the **BEST TACO SHELLS**, for 'crunchy' - shredded beef tacos, etc.
it looks the same as others, but it definitely fools you!!
** These by far - have the absolute LIGHTEST CRUNCH & are just amazing! There is simply NO COMPARISON.
The MARGARITAS are pretty good. Very light taste, and do not have that heavy syrup taste or feeling after drinking one.
The EXOTIC BLOODY MARY had, as expressed by another with us, a :
'BOMB' - PORK BELLY TACO!
The MARY however didn't have as much flavor as I or they preferred, seemed watered down. (I tasted it as well).
The PIZZA NORTEŃA is a great take on their POLLO CON QUESO ENTREE - definitely enough to feed a family/crowd!
Their CARNITA'S TACO has GREAT FLAVOR, but is not for someone who cannot handle SPICY for whatever reason, because this is right up top of the SPICY ladder!
With the SPICY subject, their SALSA has quite the kick to it as well.
Amazing RED SAUCE on those YUMMY ENCHILADAS!!
Tasty BEANS, although we weren't really caring much for the rice. To us, there was absolutely no flavor. Maybe it was a little off for that batch, or maybe it's just our preference?!
The BEEF TAMALE w/RED SAUCE had good flavor, but we enjoy more texture, as this MASA was mushy to us.
Their MINI CHIMI'S are basic, but very good, with fresh made/tasty GUACAMOLE!
Pretty good KIDS MENU, & their CHICKEN STRIPS were 'yummy'!
So are the WAFFLE FRIES.
You can definitely taste that the ****OIL is fresh and clean****,
which gives FRIED ITEMS superior flavor!!
One downfall for LITTLES are the KIDS CUPS ARE HUGE for them. They're adult size cups, so obviously NO LIDS. (See pic)
They also have a pretty good HAPPY HOUR. (See pics for all menus, other pics & notes).
We would also like to try out another one of their many locations! 
42317339Aug 6, 2023We had a gift card here so we finally tried this place!! Our waiter was very kind, I loved the vibes in this place- rustic cowboy feel- the tacos were delicious- not to mention somebody was just passing out free margarita shooters which was fun :) overall a good experience!

This place might be one of my top favorite Mexican restaurants I've been too. The food was delicious and quick to get out. The service was good and atmosphere was great. We absolutely loved the queso, it was probably my favorite thing. We all left stuffed and will be back the next time we visit Phoenix!

We found this restaurant through Yelp. What a great find!
Hostesses were cheery and attentive. Our server was on point. And the food was really good! Lots of interesting options (including veggie, like the Mushroom or Spinach Blanco Enchiladas) and great flavor from all of our food.
