I called around to make a few inquiries. I couldn't recommend this place enough if I tried. I got a quote for repair from another company, which misdiagnosed the issue. Ken came out to inspect the unit and found that the motor wasn't bad; it had just seized. He was able to oil it and break it free from last winter's bondage. Even if it only lasted another season, it was well worth a second look from a trained observer like Ken. The cost for repair?... a service call. This is a company that is ethical, which means even though my unit is already at end-of-life, I'll be calling Ken at Air Exchange first when it's time for a whole new system! Thank you, Ken! Used this company to troubleshoot and make a long lasting repair to my Amana furnace that I bought from an Amana dealer in town. The other dealer was unable to accomplish a lasting repair under their warranty after many, many visits. Subsequently bought a new furnace (several years later) from Air Exchange Technologies for a very reasonable price. Repairman/Installer/Owner Ken is a true professional, selling and servicing all types of furnaces. This company is fair priced and has great integrity. I'm giving this good review solely on my good experiences dealing with them, no other reason.

Last week, at my office located in Pocatello, our furnace would not kick on so my office personnel called another heating and air company that came in to service the furnace.
After they came and "checked out the furnace" they came up to my office and gave me the bad news. Our furnace was shot and they could install a new one for $4280.
I informed them that I needs to wait and get other bids.
I have done work with Steve Barlow and I am a friend of Ken Barlow at Air Exchange Technologies (AET) and wanted them to give me a bid for replacing the furnace also.
Ken came in the next morning and looked at the furnace. As I walked in to the office I could tell the furnace was running. Ken came up and gave me the bad news. A feathery foe ( a pigeon) had gotten into our vent pipe wedged against the exhaust motor and died not allowing it to work. He cleaned it out and said everything was good to go.
Thank you Ken for saving me $4280.
Will never use anyone else again for any heating and air services.
