I couldn't be more pleased with the service and finished braided style! I made an appointment for 9am with Aicha, herself, but ran about 10-12 minutes late, but was pleasantly surprised to see that she was there prepared to start as scheduled. The fact that she was on time was a huge plus for me, as I've experienced otherwise on many occasions from other salons. I told her what I wanted and she delivered to my hopes and expectations and within a reasonable timeframe and a price. Another big plus was that she didn't braid my hair excessively tight per request. I've received many compliments on my style. I was referred to her by two different people and agree that she highly recommendable!! I've found my sweet spot for hair braiding.

I had my braids in for about a month and 2 weeks,my hairs was looking real nice still,it's was 150 for mid back knotless, I will say the staff members took a lunch break and ate with her bear hands but luckily she's washed them

Would give it no stars if I knew how, they don't sanitize their combs or brushes, they have little children come in and out it's like a daycare.I was doing my hair and the woman stopped out of no where and started eating fufu I was sitting on that chair for 20 minutes waiting for her to come back.

They do not accept walk-ins you must make an appointment beforehand. I had the pleasure of having Edith braid my hair. I simply got 8 braids going back. $40 in total. I was in and out within the hour.
My scalp does not like tension. Usually I am beating and scratching my head to relieve the tightness but it has been 2 weeks since my appointment and I have yet to feel that itching sensation. Resulting in my braids still looking fresh 2 weeks later.
Cons: Parking kind of sucks in the area. I lucked out and got a decent parking space. I took away 1 star because there was a creepy crawly climbing up the wall. Don't get too comfortable and leave your belongings out.
I will be coming back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Daiahna O.Boston, MA194Aug 13, 2021
Terrible customer service! They are disgusting, they don't clean or sanitize after each customer. They barely wash their hands. Instead of trying to fix a braid that was messed up they will argue with you and talk about you in their language. So much shady business going on, surprised this place hasn't been raided with how much illegal activity takes place. Go elsewhere!

A mice was casually walking across the floor as I was getting my hair braided. One of the braiders was going to step on it in front of everyone. I screamed Noooooo! Take it outside. They also quote one price over the phone and switch up after your hair is braided. Aside from forgetting to write down your actual appointment. You show up and you are not scheduled. The place is a mess, needs a good cleaning and decluttering. Ghettoooo AF!

Please don't go here if you care about your hair or you have natural hair.
I specifically asked the lady for a certain look (simple box braids, showed a picture as well) and she gave me something mad stiff up and ugly, I also requested a certain length which I paid extra for and it is barely that length.
We also agreed on one price and I was charged more.
To start off they violently blow dried my hair on extra high for no apparent reason because it did nothing to my hair to make it easier to braid.
The heat was so high it scorched my scalp.
My hair is now heat damaged and my edges are falling out due to extremely tight braiding.
The braids might look decent but the pain is not worth it and the damage is irreversible.
I really regret going here, I could've just done simple box braids myself but I took a chance because I wanted a PROTECTIVE style which is supposed to help me retain length and instead I lost it and I have to start my hair journey all over.
As I move my head around I literally am hearing my edges rip.
These people will literally see you wincing in pain, crying, balling up your fists and squirming and not reconsider the pain they are putting you in.
Even if you ask for it not tight they'll still do it tight as ever.
PLEASE save your $$ and find an instagram hair braider or DIY it...this just aint it.
I'll give an update in a few weeks to let yall know the damageHelpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - S J.Readville, Boston, MA01Apr 14, 2021
Been coming here for years, today will be my last day. I was overcharged for a simple style that shouldn't have cost more than $130. And she did a bad job, nothing like the photo I showed her. Owner is constantly up charging for longer length but it seems like I'm always having to supervise or fight with her to make sure the braids are even the length I'm PAYING for. She charged me $210 for waist length braids and I had to correct her length several times because it was only to my lower back. Used to be a good place to get braids. Service has gone down and all the people there have changed out. Quality is not as good.

I got my hair done today and paid $100 for my hair to be braided into a ponytail originally it was $85 but I used an additional pack of hair which was an extra $10. The stylist was super nice and a fast braider. I still have all my edges and she gave me some gold string in my hair for free
