3/13/2021I saw Katy Chee a few months ago for a shoulder problem after my doctor recommended physical therapy for it. I had been dealing with the problem for several years, and it had become substantially worse. After just two sessions, Katy resolved my problem. I highly recommend her!

10/29/2020Have been thoroughly impressed with the care I've received from Katy Chee at the Castro Agile office. I went in twice with two separate issues and both of been almost completely resolved with one visit - Wow. I've been hesitant to try PT for years and am so so glad I went for it and chose Agile when I did. Thank you, Katy!

9/25/2020Carry Lee's expertise, support, and awesome yoga-mat-side manner are everything one could want in a physical therapist. My recovery from two full hip replacements, and regaining years of lost mobility, have been attributable to Carry just as much to the doctor who performed the surgeries. 5 Stars! Would go through 6 months of surgery recovery with Carry again!

10/2/2019Here's to Katy Chee who relieved my pain. Her magic fingers, her skill got me well again. I have to shout to the world. I'm better. I can jump for joy! She was always on time. She gave me video exercises. We went over the exercises. She taught me i don't have to go buy expensive equipment. Just two tennis balls go a long way. The only thing, they don't take HMO.

12/7/2019Katy Chee saved my life (or more specifically my back). Took lots of time to learn the history, provided brilliant treatments when I came in for appointments, and gave me lots of easy at-home/gym exercises to make sure I continued to progress. Highly recommended!

7/26/2019Katy Chee was incredibly helpful for me. I'm a former D1 athlete who's used to pushing through the pain and came in with a knee injury. Katy quickly diagnosed that the issue was weak glute muscles that were driving an imbalance in how I used my quads that put undue stress on my tendons in the knee. She gave me specific exercises, used our time judiciously and got me back to normal much quicker than we'd originally planned.
As an added bonus, she helped me deal with a chronic injury I had in my big toe. I've seen literally 8 different type of doctors for it and had pills, injections and orthotics prescribed over the last 2 years - with no results. She was able to help me get mobility back and I'm back to jumping, running and doing things I had literally given up on before I met with her (not even for this issue!)
She's curious, willing to test and try different modalities to get the job done. Highly reccomend her. - Diana R.San Francisco, CA544
9/15/2019I went here for about 10 sessions for my back and I saw Katy each time. She was prompt and she was SO HELPFUL! She is really amazing at hands-on joint mobilization, and if something doesn't work for you, she will modify it. She uses each minute of your appointment so fully and is completely present and dedicated when you're seeing her. Katy is truly wonderful, and I feel so lucky to have seen her.

6/8/2016Carrie was a wonderful therapist who I enjoyed working with. I really think that the therapy has enabled me to start running again and I can't recommend her enough.
The one star is for the abhorrent, bordering criminal, billing. I was told that after insurance id be paying 97.50 each visit. I paid this amount every time a had an appointment. Now I have a bill in the mail saying i owe $315. I also see that the amount they billed per visit randomly varies between $170 and $288. I had the exact same treatment for the exact same amount of time each appointment. Unless this is resolved immediately I will be looking into legal recourse. - Hunter G.San Francisco, CA01
12/11/2017I URGE YOU TO READ THESE REVIEWS. You'll find 18 of their 61 reviews (30%) are regarding questionable billing practices going back as far as 2009. There are plenty of great PT options out there -- find one that doesn't take advantage of its clients by quietly overcharging them and failing to correct it even after it's called out.
If this business owes you money, I urge you to file a complaint with the BBB: bbb.org/greater-san-fran…
My experience: It took SF Sport & Spine over 1.5 years and 30 follow-up emails / calls from me to finally reimburse me for the money I was owed. Specifically, they charged me $150 at the time of my appointment, received payment from my insurance company covering all but $30 (my copay), and did not reimburse me for the remaining $120 until 18 months later.
Each time I inquired about the reimbursement, I was assured that "someone else" was actively processing the check and it would be sent out the next day. Instead of taking the matter seriously and dealing with it promptly, their billing department would ignore my inquiries or respond to them with a curt response.
I wanted to believe this was an innocent billing mix up and let this go, however after 18 months of chasing down a single check, I felt compelled to write a review (my first ever) to protect others from going through a similarly painful experience.
