I've gone here for a variety of issues over the years and have *mostly* found them to be quick, easy and efficient. I say mostly because sometimes you can just get unlucky and your appointment is when they're a bit slammed. But, for me at least, this has only happened maybe one out of ten times where I had to wait about an hour after my appointment time(half of that sitting in my room waiting to be seen). They've always given me great care for any small sudden health issues.

Currently I'm dealing with a work injury through workers comp and they've been great especially once I started being seen by the MD on staff(Dr Lyle) who is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me get the referrals I need.

I scheduled an appointment at the Sandy blvd location it said they have X-rays. I think I have broken ribs and wanted to get an X-ray. I am in a lot of pain so simple things like getting in and out of a truck are painful. I arrived at my appointment time. I had to stand in line for 15-20 minutes and listen to the receptionist who appeared to not like her job. When I got to check in I was told oh sorry we tried to call you. There are too many other options for care. I will never go back. Why do you list that you have X-rays if you don't actually have them at your location? I did not have a missed call from them. I don't think they tried to call.

      They don't answer the phone!
They do not refill prescription in a timely manner. They send you on a wild goose chase to get a refill. When they call you back they do not leave a number that you can actually contact them. They advertise board certified physicians but they only have young PA's that seems uneducated. Use as last resort!

Today I waited 6 hours with an appointment. 2 weeks ago right after a motor vehicle accident I waited 3 hours with a blinding headache from concussion. When I expressed my concern for my time not being respected to Dr. Lyle he shrugged with zero empathy and told me "too bad that's just the way it is"

After having my time and energy so grossly disrespected on 2 occasions it makes me feel as though my dignity and humanity are in question.

Mind you, this is my primary care assigned by OHP. I've been seeing this dr and the team at this practice for 2 years and I was treated like dirt today.

Dr. Lyle did not do a single physical inspection of my injuries. Simply told me the X-rays don't show any major bone damage. I felt his behavior was unprofessional, uncaring, and completely disrespectful.

The rest of the admin, nursing, and medical assistants were outstanding and doing their absolute best. I am grateful for the care they provided.

Been here before for migranes and the service was much better.
This time I made my appointment online around 3 AM due to intense pain. I got a call around 9 AM telling me the provider wasnt going to be in and while I was speaking to the caller they hung up. What the hell, you are that busy or stressed, whatever that you didnt even stay on the line with me to reschedule, like YOU offered to.
Hope you never are in pain like this.

If I could give a half of star, I would. Absolutely disasterous experience front start to finish. These people are completely incompetent its mind blowing. Went in for a referral for message therapy/acupuncture in regards to a car accident. I filled out a piece of paper with the adjusters name and claim # ect.. I was handed a cup to urine in when I met back of the house. Huh? Told them what I was in for, they took the cup back. Let me just start off by saying when I was released, I was given someone else's release papers!!?? Idiots!! Also, huge HIPPA violation as well as a violation of this young ladies baterial vaginitis. So! MA has the doctor (PA) prescribe me a back cream to alleviate accident pain while im working. PA comes in my room, I ask for message/acupuncture in combination again. She says not a problem, I get my release papers and bacterial vaginitis girls. On my papers it says: came in for referral for message therapy and acupuncture. Mya (acupuncture lady) calls me to set up an appointment. On her end, I was only to be seen for acupuncture. Of course.. so after an hour of phone time, I get a phone call from the only coherent and remotely competent individual that works for this company, their referral coordinator Cassie! (Shout out to Cassie for having half a brain cell!) Shes faxing over a modification for my treatment. Ok.. its been a couple days so I call fredmeyer to see if my back cream is ready, they normally send a text when my prescriptions are filled. Fredmeyer informs me that the PA's prescription was not complete. Is she new? Or maybe she just fits in with the degenerative culture of this place. Hard saying. anyway, I ask what she missed and they told me she needed to tell them the MG dosage as well as the ounces she was prescribing. Pretty simple if you ask me. I call the urgent care and ask them to have the PA call fredys with this info. I call fredys back asking if the PA called. She called but they are like maam? Your insurance doesnt cover this? I said well its a good thing I got in a car accident and my insurance isnt covering it in the first place, progressive is! At this point my blood is boiling. I call afc back once more. I say so that peice of paper I filled out with the front desk. Specifically telling y'all to bill progressive because I was in a car accident.. yeah! The pharmacy never received it. Stupid idiot says oh im sorry. We'll call them right now. I call fredys back and asked if they called. Nope! Thats ok. I was able to provide car insurance/policy/claim # info. Myself. And then! The pharmacist starts to explain that this cream is never prescribed for a car accident in the first place and that it is a 1000$ cream and most imsurances cover only half of the amount. I tell him to disregard the prescription, dont even waste your time filling it sir! I am not paying 500$ out of pocket for a cream! Who in their right mind would. So he says no problem, lll call afc and have a different/more affordable cream prescribed. Im gonna leave this up to y'all.. anyone think I've recieved a new cream prescription? Ha! There's more. I call afc asking for a manager to call me back for the 4th time. Crickets.. Im going put this in corporates hands. They may suprize me by being slightly more efficient/competent. The bar is not set high. We'll see! As for vaginitis girl.. I tore her private information up and hope she she got some sort of adequate treatment, better her than me! DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!!!!!

Ok ...on my initial visit I was in a lot of pain when I got there so I wasn't in the best of moods. I had stepped on a metal rake and I had a really bad puncture wound in my right foot.
They deal with a lot of immigrants so the waiting room was packed. I hobbled in and went to the front desk and explained what happened. They told me to have a seat and wait.
Urgent Care is SLOW. I asked for something to prop up my foot with and I might as well have been speaking a forgein language. Finally got something myself.... asked for an ice pack and the gal just handed to me!!!!
Then when I was finally seen, the physicians assistant gal was the ONLY shinning light in all this. She was the best. Did as much as she could to make me feel better while I waited again for the doctor.
The doctor seem competent and prescribed an antibiotic for only 3 days and told me to ice and elevate my foot as much as possible.
Couldn't get my antibiotics until the next day.
Went home took an antibiotic and a bunch of Tylenol and waited for my foot to get better.
3 days later and I'm out of antibiotics and nothing is getting better because the doctor prescribed the wrong antibiotic and now my foot is infected!!!
Different doctor today. I hope these antibiotics work this time.
I wonder if I had just gone to the ER in the first place if they would've gotten it right. UGH
But in the end this gal named Zoey stepped up and didn't bill me for the first visit!!!
That's why I'm changing my review stars. Kudos to Zoey. She not only refunded a visit but also asked about what happened to me in regards to her staffing incidents, seems like she really cares.

Unprofessiona, didn't follow the procedure to submit my DOT drug test for my captains license. Wrote the wrong information on my control form and 10 days later the MRO still has no record of my test. They provided the wrong address and wrong phone number, wrote the wrong number where my SSN was to be put. After assuring me that this was regularly done there, they took my money. Made me wait an hour, we're rude, and then said don't be calling us we have nothing to do with this. Clearly they have received calls and didn't say so because the forms were so poorly filled out it couldn't even be found in the system. I will have to redo this test now and my time is running out on a 8 year process to become a USCG captain. Not to mention the 69.95$ I paid them. FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHIN!

SO go to LEGACY Hollywood if you need fast testing. it's often the same day.

I want a refund and my time back. The MRO EVEN SAID OH NO THATS YOUR PROBLEM YOU WENT TO AFC!

They were professional and compassionate. I can't understand what healthcare workers have been through in the last decade, but I took my gross problem into them, and they helped me.
