I don't need a Food Safe certificate for my job (we have a similar course at work though) but I decided to take this course to brush up my knowledge.
I arrived 15 min prior of the class and the seat was first come and first served. I recommend sitting left side facing the instructor because the projector screen is quite small, like right side students would be hard to see it.
The class was very informative, and we learned real incidents in BC too. The test was very tricky one if English was your second language but the instructor will help you.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Komekopan 1.Riley Park, Vancouver, Canada011Apr 22, 2023
The instructor was nice. Her way of teaching is easy to understand and she kindly answered when I asked her a question.

The course is very easy to understand and the instructor has made it interesting throughout the one day course. I would highly recommend to take this rather than the online course as the instructor will share some of her experiences as a health inspector.

I went here to get an update on my food safe certification back when I worked promotional work. The team was so helpful and the program was great! Thanks team!

Just hope those mom and pop shops' kitchen staff have this! That's why when I check out a hole in the wall, I try to glance on the wall for their certificate, unless you Yelpers have verified the place as yummy, then I'll take my chances lol
Dropped in to get some info, nice knowledgeable lady. It's a full 1-day, $107 course with various locations across several suburbs, same day graduation after passing a multiple-choice test, for Level 1. While we all know the importance of safely handling and storing food, just thought there are new things to keep updated about, especially with storing/packaging and food airborne sicknesses. And I'm a stickler when it comes to dishwashing.
How did we survive back during university days, eating leftover pizza overnite on the kitchen counter or sofa lol....Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Shila B.Vancouver, Canada17712859734Feb 22, 2015
I took the whole Foodsafe course twice. Once when I worked at an eatery and then a second time when I wanted to become a private commercial baker for the baker's market. It is a pricey course, however, it is well instructed, most things are obvious and the class was structured well.
